This is my first trip posting in a while. I felt like no one was really interested in reading about or seeing photos of trips unless they were of HUGE hauls. I don't do huge hauls. I get what I can get & what I need on a my college student budget. So I HOPE someone finds this posting helpful. Let me know because it's time consuming to write this all out & upload the photos.

Hooray for Crackle! Here's a pic of my newly crackled nails if anyone is curious about the product. I think it's cool.

Oh, and the bottle advises that you use it with Sally Hansen brand polishes but you certainly don't have to. The gold polish I have on under the Crackle is Gold Coin by Revlon.

I just got finished saying 1hour ago after seeing that sally hansen crackle polish commercial on tv...that is my next goal...free crackle polish!! so thanks for posting this

Sounds like s great plan. I hope you can find some. For me, one store was OOS and the other store only had 2. Be sure to ask if you can't find them b/c the 1 I got had been taken out if the display & set aside. I wouldn't have found it had I not asked.

Love it!! I have tried to find that for my teens but can't. The store manger didn't even know what it was.

Excellent job. We love the pictures. I find the huge shopping deals to be ridiculous. Yes it's great to save but do people really need 75 bottles of something? I also shop the small deals trying to spend the least amount possible. I get at least 2 papers a week. I have an excellent stockpile & rarely run out of anything. Keep up the good work, soon you have a stockpile. Very creative thinking is what we need here. Again Good job!!!!

That's exactly my goal. I try to get as many Sunday papers for FREE from people as possible & if at all, I'll buy the $.50 local paper for more coupons. I do not purchase coupons from clipping services or eBay. I'm not interested in spending $ on coupons. And when I shop, my goal is to get my OOP less than $1 every time (unless I'll get it back from SCR). If my OOP is more than $1 or two, I probably bought more than I need. That's my personal Couponing philosophy. ;-)

Wow...$.50??? My Sunday paper is $2 at the stand and $1 for a Sunday only subscription. I just subscribed and I should have ordered 2. Boo.

Your nails look awesome! Sure wish I could get my crackle paint to look as good. I love pictures of folks' purchases. It makes it seem more possible for me.

Crackle is really weird. You need to get the perfect color underneath for it to look good. Before the gold, I tried blue, white, & silver. I immediately removed those colors because they looked terrible. .

i've used this crackle painting technique on furniture for years!! im excited to try it on my nails! its fun to work with! i agree with the poster above who said you need just the right color as the undercoat!! some colors just dont look good together
