So here's where it gets good, or not so good....

The cashier said "do you watch that show on TV" I said "only watched 1 epi and thought it was people buying lots of stuff they didn't need, I mean who needs 60 bottles of mustard?" then he starts talking about it, and how they just this week got word from Corp. that they are redoing their coupon policy. He said "people are using B1G1 coupons when we have the item on sale for B1G1, so they are getting them both free and not 'buying' either one. And corp is going to put a stop to it. Once people can't do that anymore, we won't have 1 person clearing out all of our stock."

YIKES, looks like RA is going to start more limits and/or limit what type of coupon can be used with certain sales.

Yeah....your post came a little late. Rite aid posted their new coupon policy on wed. There have been a firestorm of posts about it.

if you were to pm @ Walmart for a RA B1G1 deal, RA's ad would have to specify a price (buy 1 @ $1, get one free). I've never seen an actual price in RA ad for that. The verbiage always seem to be, "Buy one get the second one free". Has anyone ever seen an actual price for B1G1 free in RA ads?

I understand WM policy and the pm w/ the price . But they also claim no ad is needed to PM what if you go to RA and get the price and tell them what the price is on sale at RA for ? Would that b kosher? Or in order to PM does it have to be an "advertised" deal. I haven't ever PMd anything or had to get a raincheck. I'm just curious if it would be kosher.

For those that will PM at Wal-Mart you still will not get as good a deal since they don't offer $UPS and survey's that we get all the time. Folks keep mentioning PM but the item still won't be as cheap as Rite Aid. I know folks don't like the new policy but with all the other offers at Rite Aid that Wal-mart will not be matching.
