I went to RA this morning and I feel like I "spent" too much...
I got
4 Ziploc Containers(Two 4 pk and three 3 pk) - 2/1.50=7.00 rcvd $4 UPR
6 Axe (3 Deoderant/3 Body spray) - B1G1 = 13.50 rcvd $9 UPR
1 Kit Kat (filler) .50
$1 VV
Paid $20 UPR
Tax:$3.51 oop
Total UPR spent - rcvd UPR= $7.00 feeling like thats too much

EXACTLY! But now when I actually think about it...I paid very little for each thing... So I am being silly REALLY!

I think, for me, the feeling comes from the feeling that I could do better than that. I didn't have any baggies so I had to buy some, and a buck each is not bad, but I felt like if I had waited for some of the things that I bought, I could have done better.

LOL Paying $1 for my things was painful.

This week was the same for me, no MMs except for the limited toothpaste. I cant even get in on the cheap Ragu, the first store I went to on Sunday had three, all others have been empty.

To others that are fairly new at RAing, do you find it hard to go into other stores and pay for stuff? Around here RA is by far the best deals! I thought I would be able to compartmentalize and not let it bother me so much to go elsewhere (because RA doesnt stock everything, ).

I stocked up on the ziplocks (also had a MQ whihc made some less then $1). I have been couponing for over a year and have never seen them any cheaper or free, has anyone else?

I got probably a hundred for free at Publix once.

That was a great trip when you think about how much you saved on each item. However, I have walked away with the same feeling. I feel like I want to get back at LEAST the same amount of ups as I used to pay for the transaction. Just call me spoiled! LOL

Exactly..its the fact I didn't walk away with what I came in with (UPS amt)
Funny thing is...I have 3 teenaged boys so Axe is something I buy regulary for MUCH more than .75 ea! LOL I need to think of it like that!! Thanks all for the pep talk...I needed to be brought back to reality!

OP, I can relate to what you are saying. I use to beat myself up, when I thought that my OOP was too high. What helped me is that I had to do a reality check and look at the whole picture and then realized that I would have paid even more without any coupons...HTH
