My Rite Aids are closing
I had 4 within 20 mins away, now 2 are left. The newest one just built the building about 2 years ago and it closed this week.

Are you getting the Sav-A-Lot rite aid combo? They did that with ours in SC and its HORRIBLE! They have their own ad that STINKS. I miss Rite Aid

That really sucks. My exboyfriend was a manager there when we dated, and it was always DEAD as a doornail. It was usually only him and one cashier at any given point.

That was two years ago, and I finally got the balls to go back in there after I started couponing. I talked to the employees that I remembered and that remembered me.

We had a brief discussion about how changing the coupon policy really helped their business, and how the UP rewards had really changed everything around

Now, my rite aid that use to have 2 people working at any given time, had three cashiers, someone working the floor, and the store manager this morning.

I went into the Save-A-Lot/Rite Aid about 20 miles from me and it was nothing like the Rite Aid we all like. There was nothing I would buy there. Different brands than the old RA. I saw 3 items that were giving +ups. And the grocery section, which is most of the store, was composed of metal shelf units filled with large cartons full of the grocery item - like they open the carton and you get the item out of the carton. And you have to walk to the back of the store to get to the pharmacy. Not a pretty picture! I will be finished with RA if they change my local store to the new version. Yes, they do make more money now, but...........
