Ugh mistakes and then drama returning...The saga xP
So, I bought:
2 Gillette Clinical
2 Sinex Dayquil/Nyquil (didn't see limit )
1 (what I thought was) Proglide Razor
Well, I realized after I got my receipt (paid $2 OOP and $8 UPs) that the razor was the wrong one. Talked to a manger who looked over the razors and said they didn't have the sale one? She said I could just return the razor.
Well, the cashier said she needed to call the manager up because I used coupons on the order and I "only" paid $2 (...) I also noticed while waiting that the $4.99 for the BOGO deodorant didn't come off. The cashier freaked out the she had put in the $4.99, like I was trying to scam her The manager looked it over with a pen and the stack of coupons though and all were right and there except for the $4.99 one...there was no wrong value, just it missing.
So she said she would just return all three things and then use the BOGO coupon on it. It took forever (but not minding she was very nice) for her to return them because their computer seems to complicated! She kept forgetting to hit the return button Anyway, so she handed me back about $25 in cash, and then rerang the deodorant. Then took off the $4.99 (man that was complicated...do they have no post-coupon button???) and then I paid out of the cash she gave me. She said nothing about giving me more cash than I had originally paid which is usually their problem (the razor was my filler xP) PLUS I got two more UPs. I would have expected her to take those, as I had already gotten the two for the deo...so instead of just giving me $4.99 for the post coupon it was like giving me $10.99 (the coupon and $6 in UPs)
She also told the cashier that it was fine to do a return with a coupon, because they still get reimbursed.
Now I know to shop at that RA when I am home from school. This is one of the only times I ever had to return something to RA that I used a coupon on and after the horror stories was worried I'd only get the OOP even though I used UPs.
So I made $17 (including tax) buying 2 deos and 2 Sinex o.O
-$3 Gillette Flu Book
-$4.99 BOGO Gillette, up to $4.99
-(2) $4 Sinex
-$2 Sinex Flu Book
= -$.01 + tax (this was not my total but I am not including the razor)
Got back (2) $3 UP Gillette, $2 UP Sinex
=$8 MM - tax
(plus the $4 proglide coupon on the return, and the (2) $3 Gillette on the resale)
=$18 MM - tax
