This was a last minute decision this morning after I printed out the Video Value Q's.

This is what I got

I think what pushed me away from RA was the SCR...I like to see my savings right now rather than waiting for a Check in the mail...but now with the In AD Q's and the Video Q's its a great store to shop at..and honestly its a bit closer than Wags for me...LOL

I like RA better because I like getting a check that I can either cash and use the money anywhere or deposit into my savings account. I liked Walgreen's better before when we received a check as opposed to the RR. I don't like their RR because they can only be used at Walgreen's and for a limited time. At least when the Easy Saver Program was in effect at Wags, the check could be cashed and used anywhere or deposited.

I like RA. Sure, you have to wait a little longer for the actual rebates to come, but I get completely overwhelmed with Wags. Plus RA adds the extra stuff, like the Gift of Savings programs and other deals that make it fun. I love getting money in the mail!!

Maybe I will check into the SCR's then....How logn does it take for them to get to you? Has anyone had trouble getting their checks?

It doesn't take that long, maybe 2-3 weeks after you request it?

It doesn't take long to get them. Just remember that you can only request one check, hence why it's Single Check Rebate. So, you'll want to wait to request your check until after you've submited everything. I haven't had any trouble receiving them.

It will say on it that you can use it at the store (or words to that effect). But, it is a check. So, you can also deposit it at your credit union or bank.

Wags also confuses me!! I like RA cause it's simple, no rolling and keeping track of extra paper and remembering which coupon can or can't be used on the next transaction. If I don't find anything I want the next week, then I lose my money letting it expire.

I use my SCR's when I do my next transaction at RA. I've gotten $25 gift cards, free diapers, and extra money with the fall savings programs. Especially cause it's all BEFORE coupons! Using the $5/$25 or $5/$20 is awesome cause I easily get up there.

I don't do any transaction over $25 anymore. I break mine up to make it easier for me and the cashier! I don't want to hand her 30+ coupons and have to make sure she scans them all. I would rather hand her 5-10, then they don't stress out.

Plus, I have NEVER had rude service yet from a RA. I have had several cashiers at Wags accuse me of coupon fraud. And RA's coupon policy is in print and very specific, again unlike Wags which varies from store to store.

Great trip! I started RA shopping in October, and I'm hooked! I love the SCR, the GOS, and the special SCR offers like the $5 Dove RA certificate and the Diabetes Tote bag with samples.

All of the RA's here are so friendly, and I never have trouble with Q's at RA. They do seem to run out of stock, so get there early in the week if it's a hot deal.

That is awesome. When I found all the deals I could get by shopping at Rite Aid, I started to love it.

BTW, how much was the chex mix?

I love RA too! My mom works for one here and she's my connection, . This week her and I asked the manager to order quite a bit of stayfree and nivea lip for us so we dont wipe the shelves and it was no problem! I was really nervous but since my mom works there and knows everyone it wasnt too big a deal after all and I was so psyched! I'm waiting on my q's to get here so cant wait to post all the trips!

i got the stayfree, carefree, nivea lip, listerine and some reduced dove chocolate and used the 5 off 20 q along with the other qs. i still had to go back and get some more chocolate off the reduced table to cover my overage. nothing like being paid to take stuff out of the store. i love ra. i wish i had more than 1 close to me.
