 Didn`t qualify for $5.00 cash back
If I spent $40 this week, I would have gotten $5.00 cash back. The total was over $40. However, after I added the coupons and took advantages of BOGO, I was $13.00 short.  Determined to get that $5.00  , I began to add 13 bottles of Softsoap handsoap (10 for $10) to my total. Then it dawned on me that I was being stupid. I was going to spend $13.00 on nonessential things, so I could get that $5.00. What was I thinking? Who is profiting from this deal? obviously, not moi. Publix gains $8.00, while I gained only $5.00 . I apologized to the bagboy for the trouble, paid $27 for my grocery, and headed home knowing that I still have $13.00 in my pocketbook. Word of advice: Before leaving the store, make sure the clerk scanned all of your coupons, and the prices are correct. I have caught the clerk twice forgetting to scan a couple of coupons, because they were stuck together. If you do it right then, the manager can check if the mistake was yours or the clerk`s. It might be only a .$25 coupon, but think of the time you spent looking and cutting the coupon, not to mention the cost for printing  it.
