| ughh bad trip!
Today I went into PUBLIX for what I would say is a few things, and considering I had my 2 babies and a 2 yr old with me, we made it through the store pretty quick, and then DISAsTER STRIKES!!!! First transaction: I had gotten the KNOX gelatin , no overage had gotten beechnut cereal had a publix coupon for free, she would not take 1.00 man coupon at this point, I am like great... I see how thing is going whatever so on to the next transaction... At this point the meltdowns are coming.. Second transaction: The cashier had no clue how to deal with the coupons (and was not really good at speaking english), so the one mang had to come over, then she left, then she needed help from the cust service person that walked by, then again the manager. This is what I had gotten, formula gran bars baby food apple sauce juice yogurt mayo bagels iced tea I had a bunch of each thing, but not what I would call a difficult order (BUT I HAD AT LEAST A COUPON FOR EACH THING). At this point all 3 of my kids are screaming, I had run out of all my snacks, the lady behind me is being RUDE!!! and there is nothing I could do. My receipt is so screwed up, I need to sit down and decipher it..... The manager finally just told the cashier, hurry up and scan these things all through, theses babies can't take this anymore. So finally like 45 minutes later, I pay, and head out. The manager approached me and my this point I am getting go pissed I'm crying. She is like I am sorry, we just have to make sure all your coupons are valid, we have been having people come in with coupons for products they arent buying,, yada yada yada. I was like I understand, but it took me like 30 minutes to shop (which is like record time with 3 babies), and all my coupons were organized (which I don't think they have a clue how long that takes!), I am just frustrated that it took me like 45 minutes to check out, there is no reason for that. AND there is no reason that I should have NASTY people behind me in line, when the holdup is not my problem. She apologized and told me that next time she would have no problem opening and shutting a line just for me, so it wouldnt be this problem (I am thinking to myself, that would be great, but definately not for anything giving overage, because with her there was no such thing!!!) |

*hugs sorry you had such a bad day i hate rude people!!!! last time i was in walmart and the cashier was going thoru them all no problems here but the lady behind me started saying rude things like are we almost done here, should i go to another line. is this almost over i wanted to tell her to shut up ^.^ but i just smiled cuz i saved 60 bucks and she didnt

I can tell you honesty, I had to deal with a rude person this morning at Safeway. I had three items, all with coupons. I approached an express lane that had no one, and I mean no on in line. I am being checked out quickly, hand them my card and coupons and Lord and behold a voice start in saying, (This is supposed to be the express line, why the hell they allow people like you in this place I will never figure out!) I calmly took hold of my cashier hand and proceeded to ask them how their family is doing, how is their job doing, did they notice any good sales that I missed? And most of all how I appreciated the fact that they (the cashier) gives the best service every! Then I turned to the man standing there and told him I knew for a fact that Safeway has the best prices on Imodium, maybe he should indeed check it out for himself. Have a nice day. On the way out of the door I stopped to pick up an extra sale paper, the cashier who waited on me starting call my name running up to me. Guess what! ( that old nasty man card was refused, he wound up paying cash and stormed out. Here a coupon for you that he left behind!) It was $3.00 dollars of next shopping trip. I just smile and thanked the cashier greatly for their kindness. It made the morning shopping trip worth it.

Oh it is def worth my time and the frustration, I saved 150.00 today!
