Well I wasnt on top of my game tonight. I had a headache and wasnt concentrating very well and messed up my count even with the baskets in the shopping cart BUT I still did fairly well I think. I spent $38.18. I saved $82.37!! I am gonna be sad when this mega sale ends

Ok here's what I got. Prices shown are before the mega sale discount was applied (bc some of the items I didnt get the discount on since I miscounted)

7 cans Chef Boyardee @ .99- used my free coupon I got in the mail today that I signed up at Wal-Mart website a couple of weeks ago. She took off the full .99. Also had one .50/2 coupon from inside a Banquet frozen meal I bought earlier this week.

7 Betty Crocker fruit snacks (meant to get 6! so mad at myself!!!!) @ 2.19 used (3) .50/2 q's which doubled

6 Kraft BBQ sauce @ .99

3-2 liter sodas @ 1.29 used (3) coupons for save $1 on soda WYB 2 participating Kraft products

4- Gatorade @ .99 used (2) B1G1 q's-she took off the full .99

3- Orville Redenbacher popcorn @ 1.99 used (1) .40/1 blinkie which doubled and (1) $1/2 tear pad q

2-Pilsbury sweet moments desserts @ 2.49 used (2) $1/1 and had an ecoupon for .75/1

so that added up to 32 items (grrrr)

Non mega sale items:

4 Knorr rice sides @ 1.00 used (2) coupons for $1/2
10 Hormel bacon @ 1.00 used (2) coupons for $1/3 Hormel items
2 Nabisco 100 calorie snacks @ 2.19 had peelies on them for $1/1
1 Danonino yogurt @ 1.88 had peelie on it for .55/1
1 Lays chips @ 2.99 had free home mailer q from Kroger
2 Swiss Miss hot cocoa @ 1.49 used .50/2 which doubled
1 French's honey mustard @ 2.19 used $1/1 peelie on bottle
1 French's regular mustard @ 1.99 used .30/1 which doubled
1 Kroger brand ranch dressing @ .99 (no coupon just needed some)
4 Mentos gum @ 1.00 used (4) .50/1 q's which doubled
6 Mentos candy (in the roll) @ .50 used (6) .50/1 which doubled (money maker!!) *again I was off my game bc I didnt even think about the mentos being a money maker until I was reviewing my receipt later. I wish I had not already used 10 coupons at CVS earlier today now!!!*

had a .55 ecoupon come off from cellfire which is VERY weird bc I have already used the coupon that I loaded the day they were having the "happy hour" promotion so I honestly don't know where this one came from! It just said "ecpn thank you"

used $2 cat from previous trip

minus $9 for mega sale participating items

Total was $38.18 and received three more $3 OYNO cats for the mega sale and a $3 from the BC fruit snacks so I think I did pretty good even with the mistakes!!

I then "splurged" on myself and did another transaction to buy myself a GA Bulldogs T shirt that was on clearance sale for 4.99 and I used one of my $3 cats and paid $2.14!! I sure wish they would let us use more than one of these cats per transaction!!!

Stop beating yourself up and, instead, congratulate yourself on saving $82+ and getting your t-shirt for just $2.14. Now you've got the other $3 cats to use another time. Could you return one of the BC snacks?

What a great trip. I read on another forum that Kroger posted on their facebook page they are suppose to allow more then one $3 cat in one transaction. I tried at Smith's and they wouldn't let me.

I tried tonight and it came straight from the general manager of the store that only one is allowed per transaction. No exceptions. He said they absolutely are not allowed to over ride those without getting in trouble and he has always been extremely friendly and helpful so I believe him.
