I went to Kmart today to see if I could find any great deals with the double coupon special this week. Didn't find anything towards that, but checked out the cat litter, as I had coupons for $1/1 Tidy Cat Litter expiring 8/1. Turns out there is a Kmart Super coupon for $1/1 Tidy Cat 20 lb. or more in their flier. The cat litter was on sale 3/$10. The super Q says limit one per transaction. I stacked the super coupon with my manufacturer coupons, and with tax I paid $1.50 for each 20 lb. bag. I think this is good, but since the last deal I got was for free cat litter, can't remember how much I pay for the cheap stuff at Sam's club anymore. Of course after buying several bags, I stumbled upon a bag that had 5 extra lbs. for free!! Got those for the last three bags (on the end cap). DH would not let me drag the other bags back in to exchange them for this bigger bag, so missed out on some 'free' lbs. of cat litter! Also there is a Q for a free hand sanitizer when you 'visit' the pharmacist. We each made a visit there and walked away with free hand sanitizer :-)

Although Kmart's July doubling event has ended, what type of Tidy Cats cat litter formula were you able to score for $1.50? Scoopable clay or conventional non-scoopable clay?

Since the OP states "20 lb bag", I presume that you bought the conventional non-scoopable clay? Either way, great find!

They were the regular clay bags. Some had the extra 5 free lbs. too! Double coupons didn't apply actually, as the Tidy Cat Q's were $1 off. I stacked a Super Kmart Q with my Tidy Cat MQ. Only thing was the Kmart Q said one Q per transaction or something like that, so had to do each transaction separately. Did get smaller bags free at Pathmark during the triple Q special, but that was a first for me. Actually, Kmart still has their super Q this week, so if anyone has any $1 Tidy Cat Q's that aren't expired (mine expired 8/1) you could possibly still get some cheap litter. Not sure what the price of the litter is this week though.

Understood about the Tidy Cats deal not being part of the Doubles event as the mfg coupon is $1/1.

Unfortunately, my cats will only use scoopable clay cat litter, but thanks for sharing the deal.

The price I typically pay is .74/10lbs. Walmart has the 10lb bags for $1.74 all the time and I get a bunch of the $1 q's together and stock up. So, $1.50 is a little better, but with the extra 5lbs, I should really check it out! Thanks for the post!
