Is special shampoo needed for ethnic hair?

Trying to make some stockpile baskets for a few people, and I have a question. Does any shampoo/conditioner such as HE or Pantene work for ethnic hair, or are there specific products that work better?

I have mixed kids and they use regular shampoo, but their hair is drier than ours so they have to use conditioner. I just asked my husband and he said if its a basket for someone, then he would send it, especially if they might be doing without. Just include some conditioner if you have it. Some shampoo is better than none.

Thank You. I have pairs, so that should work. Just didn't want to give something that could clearly no be used.

I use HE Hello Hydration shampoo & conditioner and love it. It really depends on the type of hair. Some ethnic hair is drier than others and others are little more oily. It is a wide variety. The donation will be greatly appreciated.

i was going to post about the pantene for natural or relaxed hair. stocked up on a bunch of them. Hate herbal essence though. dried out my hair even more and made it nappier than usual But gosh darn it smells so so good.

I agree. My daughter is mixed and has dry hair so
I make sure to have a shampoo and conditioner that is moisturizing.
