| Need Ideas for Confirmation Boy
I was recently invited to a post-confirmation party for my nephew. Of course, I need to bring as gift, but I'd rather give something a bit more personal than money. I don't want to do the bible/cross necklace gift as I'm sure he'll receive those from immediate family members. Does anyone have any suggestions for a gift for a 16 year old boy that he'll appreciate (I know...cash is something he'll appreciate). Thanks so much! |

Oh, and I put it under frugal living as I don't want to appear "cheap" but I could probably save money by getting a gift instead of giving cash. Things are tight right now and the timing isn't great with Christmas arriving before you know it! So ideas with frugality in mind are definitely appreciated! Thanks!! |

Well, depending on how comfortable he is with displaying his faith, maybe a Christian themed T-shirt/ball cap? Or a good book - I've heard good things about "Do Hard Things" or a Christian music cd? I've seen somewhere a poster of a knight with the armor of God verse on it. Or maybe a new wallet? Teenage boys can be difficult to buy for in this situation...
