I stopped by Giant Eagle on the way home from work today. I bought 10 packages of Birdseye vegetables and asked the cashier if she would mind ringing up my vegtables in separate sets of 5 transactions and she did. Not only did I get my vegtables for free, I got 2 5 dollar certificates for Steeler bucks. I also bought one Nestle's quick drink and 2 containers of Breakstone sour cream and paid a total of $.30.

For those of you that haven't done Birdseye deal, you can get coupons on Ebay (I think I paid $9 for 100 (5 sets of 20 each). to top it off; not only do you get those veggies for free but for each group of 5 that you buy, you get the steeler bucks that can be used cumulatively to buy merchandise.

MAN! When are they going to get Steelers bucks in CLEVELAND ( at the irony of that - it's okay - we're Steeler's fans too!!)

Actually, on the way home, I was thinking I think they call them black and gold bucks. I'm pretty sure I threw some of them out before I realized they were valuable. I'm not really a sports fan but I remember one year my grandson wanted a steeler jacket and I freaked out at the price and he settled for something less expensive. I might just order some more coupons on ebay and keep buying those veggies.
