The Cleveland RMH had an Urgent need for Cereal, they posted it on their facebook fan page. So I decided to gather a bunch of other items from their wishlist along with the cereal to donate.

7 Boxes of Cereal
3 Indiv. Kashi Cereal cups
1 Large bottle Ajax dish soap
1 3pk Sparkle Paper towels
4 boxes of Jello
1 Bottle BBQ sauce
1 Jar Pace Salsa
1 Canister Koolaid Lemonade powder
2 Canisters Crystal Light
2 Canisters Sugar Free Koolaid
1 Canister Coffee Mate Powder

Good for you!!! Our Ronald McDonald House here in Chattanooga is also asking for donations. I'm trying to see what I can come up with. This would be another great place to donate our stockpile. These houses are all over the country.

Great going - thanks for the suggestion - I am starting to get a little crowded with my supplies - just sorted out my cereal yesterday by expiration date and I probably have 30 boxes for 2 people. My husband made me swear off buying any more until we use some up.

I checked the Ronald McDonald House in St Louis and they too have a wish list and I can fill lots of it - thanks for the tip.

As a mommy who has spent 7 months living in a Ronald McDonald House while her little one had treatment I wanted to tell you how much these donations mean to the families. When you get back from the hospital at 2 am to catch a few hours of sleep it is nice to have something there to just grab. We also loved cake mixes/cookies...something to do on days when we couldn't be out

My sister works for the RMH in Greenville, NC and I know how much the volunteers/donations mean to them. You may also want to check with your local house to see if they are collecting soda can pop tabs to raise money.
