OK...just brought tears to my eyes!! My mother was in the same situation 20 years ago with me and my brother (I was 12 at the time, brother was 4). We left with the clothes on our back as well. We were very fortunate to have people around us that were willing to help us get back on our feet. Speaking from experience...I will never forget the charitable acts of those that helped us and I know the family you are helping will forever hang on to your memory as well. Thanks for all you do...and that goes out to all the AFCr's out there!!

It's so inspiring to those of us on AFC to see the good work that can come from couponing! I've given some to others, but my stockpile never has a chance to grow, because my adult kids go shopping at mom's -- they don't have grocery money most of the time, so it helps them as well. Awesome job you did in helping this family!

That's awsome what you are doing. I would love to help get the family started on the coupon binder. I would be happy to send an envie of coupons. I think you should post a list of coupons you are looking for that may help out. I am so stocked up, I feel I am wasting my coupons. PM me!

I'm glad I'm subscribed to this thread, b/c I was happy to read your update. (Especially like the VF plates. ;-) ) I'm excited b/c I'll be posting a new Donation Trip thread next week after doing pretty well at HT superdoubles so far this week. Thanks for the update continuing to donate!

Thank you so much- this made me get tearsin my eyes! When I was 6 my twin sister and I were playing with matches- we too lost every thing...just ours was due to fire. My mom was a single mother and someone donated 2 twin beds for us- that was awesome- thank you for caring for this family- You are wonderful. I am sure it made you feel great too- THANK YOU!
