| Not so great trip. I was all excited to do my deals today and I ended up spending like $10 more then I was planning bc the cashier messed me all up ![]() On my 1st transaction he forgot to scan 1 of my pert 2.00 q's and my nuetrogena 3.00 printable q. I was doing two transactions and I'd never done that b4 so I was already confusing myself so I was like huh why is my total so much! didn't realize til i got home and really scanned my receipt and noticed THEN on my olay deal I forgot to give him the other 5 ECB's I had so I spent 5 extra on that then i shoulda because I was so messed up from being confused as to why my total was so high on the first order.. Oh well... Live and learn I guess!! |

| I know what you mean...when I first started I tried to do 2 or more transactions and just gave up... I'm sure you'll make it up next time!! |

| Yeah I mean I didn't do TOO badly I earned more ECB than I spent for sure, but I would have spent way more less OOP than what I did if I'd planned it much more carefully and not gotten myself messed up/and he woulda scanned the other two q's I gave him. I spent around 15.00 or so and earned 26 ECB so thats not bad... Its that extra 10 I spent thats killing my brain ![]() |

| I normally try to have a plan and everything in one envelope because at the begining i would always forget something so that really helps oh and i also write a list |

| I had my list printed and with me I think I just got so confused trying to do two transactions and I had a lot of q's on the first one. When my total was way more than I was expecting on the 1st I got frazzled trying to do the second and forgot to hand him the other 5ECB so that one was my fault. It was just too much for me I hope next time'll go better. I did try to plan carefully and knew what q's I had for each transaction and had already seperated the items & each set of q's before I got to the register. But there were people in line behind me and him missing two high dollar q's totally threw me off my game. ![]() |

| I so agree with the list idea. I can now do many transaction without messing up as long as I keep my list. Something else to keep in mind if you feel rushed by the people behind you (I do) just step aside and let them go and then you go again. I know you didn't mention this but it might help in the future when you are doing more transactions. |

| Yeah when I first went up there was nobody there and a lady came behind me and she had 2 things so I let her go in front and once I got in the middle of the first transaction like 5 ppl showed up so I was like oh no I didn't wanna hold everyone up... |

| I did two transactions once and mind you it was early in the morning. Before I started I turned to see there was a man with one item. I let him go ahead of me. When I reached the counter a crowd of out of towners gathered on the line. I was mid-checkout got to my last few items handed over all my q's and had a -57 cent. I stepped over to grab a candy bar and the man went up to the counter while my stuff was still there and handed over his 3 items to the cashier. Cashier told him, that I was not done. He got angry and said something in a language I did not recall. Finished that transaction moved on the next and he still came up behind me. I turned around and said, I'm not done and you have to wait your turn, sorry. The cashier was annoyed with this man and said Sir, my customer is not finished you have to wait. Finally someone from the floor came over and took Mr. Impatient. As I was exiting the store, I said you all have a nice day and smiled; walked out with $70 worth of goodies that I paid $2.43. That took away my frustration. ![]() Last edited by sweetsali; 07-08-2008 at 06:22 AM. Reason: typo |

| Some people have no patience for anyone else Glad it worked out great for you in the end though! After CVS I went to FL and had like 4 things and the lines were so long and this guy who had an overflowing cart saw my mom and I and let us go first. I was so grateful. ![]() |

| I do two transactions, also, but I seperate them by putting one transaction worth of products in a basket in my cart with the corresponding q's in its own envelope, and i have my q's in order before I go up to the counter. I buy the products that give ecbs first, then use those ecbs to pay for the 2nd trans. What I HATE is that the counter only has a little tiny area to put your stuff! The whole rest of the counter is filled with impulse items. |

I accidently replied to my own thread. I think I had two windows open and was reading two things at once. Doesn't mix with staying up all night Someone get me some help! |

I always have my coupons paper clipped to my list....I can do 5-6 deals as long as I have the deal lists/coupons organized. I also watch the credit card machine thing to see what prices are being rung up and what coupons are being taken off. |

| I'm kind of new and sometimes try 2 transactions. I always "pull over" in an aisle before I go up to the cashier and separate my items in the cart and my coupons. I take out all my ECB's and then go up to the counter. If there are a lot of people on line (or any really), I'll only do 1 transaction and then get back on line to do another. At least that way I know I didn't hold anyone up more than anyone else would have. Also, if you go in with your Q's and receipt, they may just give you the money back for the difference and take your Q's. I realized this once as I was walking out and they just gave me the money. | if doing more than one transaction...i will go through the store and gather the items for one tranaction .. cash out, and then go through the store again, getting the items for the second transaction. this way i don't confuse myself when i get up to the register, trying to figure out what is for what transaction. ![]() |

| That multiple transaction thing messes me up too. It wouldn't be so bad if the basket were bigger and you could really separate your orders. I think I'll take the advice of doing one order paying and then going back through the store and getting the other items. Then I won't have to mess with people behind me either. |
