Ok so a post from Wishful thinking made me wanna post my awful trip that had me banging my head on the steering wheel all the way home! UGH....

So of course last week we were all looking for the KY hers and him thingy, no luck for me BTW...anyhoo...a few nights earlier I found some CVS diapers on clearance that were like 50% off, I was stoked....so that night I found some more CVS diapers on clearance and automatically assumed that they were 50% off, WRONG answer...first rule, NEVER assume, go price check it! LOL

I walked up to the counter with 3 packs of diapers, an allmay eyeshadow, and the travel pick thing for your teeth....so she was ringing me up and I saw that the diapers were 7.42 or something like that...I was like oh no I thought they were less than that, take them off, so she did...no problems, so I just proceeded to pay for my other items....My mistake was I wanted to use my 5/15, but it wasnt a $15 total without getting diapers! I just walked out of the store paying more than I wanted to and then I realized while driving home, DUH if I would have just bought 1 pack of those diapers I could have used my coupon! UGH I was sooooo mad! : Oh well....I did get my ECB for the eyeshadow, but STILL....sheesh, that is what happens when you are in a rush and just want to get home to your bed....LOL

yesterday on trip #2 I had 3 deals worked up...on deal #3 they didn't have everything I had woked into my deal so I stood in the store figuring out how to make it work up to $15 with Qs I had.....12 hours later at work I realized that I shouldn't have went to $15 because I didn't use a 5/15...DUH

I try not to let myself rework things in my head after the fact, I used to do it, but it always made me sooooooooooooo MAD!

So many times I could've worked things out better and had an even more amazing deal.

Just try to let go and think of all the other perfect trips! LOL

LeAnn even when we have a bad day we still save more money than before we banded together and shared our ideas. I hate days like those, but I have to realize that this group has helped me so much i had money this weekend....with the price of gas....to take my son on a fishing trip in the truck. So take this big hug and go count all the free razors, toothpaste and soap you have!!

I'm RIGHT there with ya!! I don't know HOW many times I wonder, "Now why didn't I just do THIS in the deal and it would have all been fine."

I always end up getting everything in order and then at the last minute (checkout) I panic and mess things up really bad. Like once it was a $15 error on my part. UGH! I totally botched that one... Blocked it from my memory so I don't even know what it was in the deal.

I'm thinking that this, deal flubs, is where CVS makes money off of us couponer's too.
