Went in for a quick trip to get some of the April deals before they were through at my favorite store yesterday had my trip all planned out and was out of everything I was prepared to buy. I love the managers their always so friendly and quick to say when I walk in and ask how i am. He even told me that the May deals were already working with extra bucks Well they did not have none of the 18 oz soft soap or the lumene (cheap products) so I saw the Acne Free deal, it said buy any of the acne free products get 5 ecb well even in the picture shown there was the one for 5.99 so in quick thinking I thought I could buy 3 and use the 3/15 and I could get three for free. Well it did not print any extra bucks, so the other manager (2 working, nice but not my favorite) and pulled the add out and told me that I probably just exceeded the limit and I told him that it has a limit of 5 and I have not even purchased any acne free products - then he went on to tell me that the limit was for 5 on the whole page and I told him that it was 5 for that product, I was nice the whole time and he was tolerable he had to go get the other manager to see what the deal was and why it was not printing (by now the line was backing up, i felt bad but did not want to be out 17.98) Finally after going back and forth for about 15 minutes there was print for 19.99 or more (I felt really dumb) I told him that I was so sorry I did not even see it and he said that was fine he did not either and it was very misleading with the same product listed in the picture. Then he said that I could return the item and she could refund my money, and I told him that would be great because I was only getting it because I thought I was getting 15.00 back. He told the cashier to put the money back on a gift card and started another problem because I paid with extra bucks. Had to bring both managers up and my favorite one really seemed to be irritated, he was not rude but his whole deminor changed. I did get my money back on a money card. I wish I would have just kept the product and not returned it now. I hope I did not make a bad name for myself at my absolutely favorite CVS - I will lay low maybe for the next two weeks and go to the other ones around town and hopefully when I return everything will be ok.

Is it just me, or do all of the employees at CVS seem to hate people who actually use their ECB's?

They'll be nice as pie, until you whip out the ECB's, then you're somehow ripping them off!

Yeah, everytime we use an ECB, it comes out of their paycheck! LOL

You did the right thing, I would've done the return too!

I had problems at a CVS yesterday that I don't usually frequent, major problems, although they weren't my doing(computer problems)but the Store Manager from my usual CVS was there. He was laughing at me when I told him I broke the computer. It was kinda funny, but I would much rather lay low. Now, I am hoping he isn't at his store when I go in Thursday evening to try and do the Soliel deal(they were out yesterday, wahhhh...)I just don't want them to think I am this crazy CVS stalking coupon lady(which,I think, I just might be!) I went to a CVS in ANOTHER TOWN, and there was a manager there from my favorite CVS. SHe was like,"Hi, how's it going...I didn't know you lived here..." My hubby said I may need to start wearing disquises now...I think my two boys will be a dead giveaway as to who I am though...unless I dress them in wigs and dresses...hmmmm, maybe not!

Makes me feel a little better that someone else would have done the same thing. I just hope they dont treat me horrible now (like the horror stories people post about their cashiers and managers).

, Thanks for the laugh - the kids are always a give away. I try to go on my lunch break at work, or just bring DD. My DS absolutely hates CVS he cries when we pull into the parking lot and says I not like this store mommy. Kaleigh told me when went grocery shopping thurs. that she did not like with me any more because I have to use all those coupons!

Yeah, my boys complain too,"Here AGAIN Mommy???" Then I remind them CVS is the reason they have so much gum(dentyne buy 1 get 1 free packs by the pharmacy)and they lighten up, a bit anyway!

Mine are great. I went today and got some All,CVS nuts and as I walked out I saw the deals for tomorrow. I asked if they were up and one of my fav cashiers got an item and ran it through on my card, no go. She refunded my money.
It is my fav store in the area.

Sorry bout that...Somethings are misleading...darn! Glad you got your money back though...So what that you paid with ECB? Not like your not going to spend that money again right? Whats the big deal sheesh!
