Is couponing going down hill?
This site used to be very active. No recent post for shopping trips and hidden deals anymore. Times are changing and I think some are going to YouTube to watch live shopping trips. I'm guilty of using YT as my way check for deals I missed. I do not shop at RA like I did in the past. Lately, CVS, Walgreens, Dollar General and Family Dollar have been my go to! Grocery shopping mostly at the Air Force Base due to getting some killer meat deals. If a coupon beeps and the product matches they kindly key in for me, no hassle like the chain Super Markets. Extreme couponing really messed up coupon policies and now I have to return to certain stores just to get a deal. Sign of the times. This still does not discourage me from couponing. Hope you all are still getting those deals. Best Regards.

Yes, couponing has changed in the last ten years. I still try to get the best deals possible but it is harder to do.

I used to live at CVS, but in the past couple years, they've been instituting changes that have made shopping there much more difficult and at times downright annoying. I mostly shop at the grocery store for deals now. Sometimes I pop into Wags. Rite Aids are so geographically dispersed around here that I rarely go there. Target used to be much more fun with store coupons and that sort of thing. They also no longer allow overage. I hit up their seasonal clearance but don't shop there as much either. WalMart is still a bit of an adventure when I manage to get time to go there, but they're not close by. I think the Qs are generally not as good as they once were. I miss the activity on this site and the old WUC site, too. I am in school so I don't have as much time to devote to shopping as I once did. |

Very true, it's harder to find the deals,MQs are not as good. Coupons.com has restricted prints I used to have four laptops to print from but now it knows (from IP address I guess) PnG is a joke. I used to spend a lot of time here getting and reporting deals. I still have my coupon books and use coupons all the time.

Just finished poking around the site some more,it's like a ghost town in here. So freaking sad. Does anyone know what happened? Even the FB page is a ghost town. Just so sad. Wishing the best for everyone here.

Yes it was quite the place. A lot of fun going out prepared and getting what I wanted. Disappointing it came to slow badly and now to end. The Q's aren't nearly as good. I get a few per week from the Sunday SS and Retail Me but they aren't nearly as strong as it was. Bah! |
