Some nice unexpected finds at CVS.

Found a 28 pad pack of Stayfree ultra thin overnight pads clearanced from six dollars and change, to $1.72. Was just happy to find it; didn't expect it to track toward the gas card, but it did.

Then they had 1 of the PF skin care products; regularly $19.29, I believe, on sale for $4.82.

I asked the assist. mgr. if they had any more; said he expected some Monday. I told him the B1G1F sale would be over; and laughing, I said, "I couldn't get the other one for this b1g1f ?" And he said no, but besides giving me a raincheck, he would only charge me 1/2 off for this one; which came to $2.41. I had 2 $1 green bag CRTs which I used and paid under .50 with tax.

Not bad.

I had one of the $15 PF CRTs, which I wanted to use on the B1G1 PF skin care this week (tracking towards the gas card) and was really happy to find that they had the PF eye creams on clearance for $4.99. I did two transactions, one to use the $15 CRT on a full price pair at $19.99, and a second trans to buy a pair on clearance at 4.99. I realized the clearance pair would not be B1G1, but had a $5 beauty club ECB to use, and thought that they would score me the gas card--unfortunately the clearance pair did not track at my store so I returned them.

Glad you were lucky with it though I would be happy happy happy to find clearance Stayfree, I may go back to my store and scan some, fingers crossed!

Sorry the clearance ones didn't ring up B1G1F. I had read here on AFC previously they weren't coming out that way; nor tracking for the gas card deal.

I think I lucked out by the assistant manager giving me the half off price of the one, and the raincheck as well.

I hope you find the clearance Stayfree as well! They were long gone from the stores by me; I don't know if they found this one or something, but I was happier to find it than all the free makeup and whatnot! Well; maybe equally as happy!

Yes, you were definitely lucky to have that AM! Cvs promo/sale price doesn't apply to clearance items, it's either sale(bogo or bogo half, or $ off, or % off etc.) or clearance price, not both. And it's pretty much standard exclusion nowadays to see "excludes clearance" on their ECB deals ads, although they do sneak by occasionally, like the organix.
