My name is Joe. I am a dad of two wonderful kids. My wife is a stay at home mom,so we are trying to get the most bang for our buck each time we go shopping.

Today at CVS I did two trips

My #1 priority is diapers and wipes. We use pampers. So what should my next step be? I'd like to earn more ECBs, but I only have these 2 19.99s to work with. I feel a bit overwhelmed, but I have been keeping Sunday inserts for the last 9 weeks. Any tips, advice would be appreciated greatly.

I got 4 packs of huggies,2 toothbrushes, and a razor this last week for $18.xx oop! Everyone here is great, I just wish I would have found this when I was still a sahm! Great start to CVSing!

You can always look ahead to the next weeks (or so) sales to see what items are coming up and what ECB's are expected (see the sticky with the sale date you're interested in). Sometimes that helps me to plan for the next week, get my coupons in order and make my list. I don't know if Pampers/wipes are coming up soon, but that's one place you could check to get an advance idea of the sales. Hope that helps a little.

There's no big pamper's or wipes deals coming out, but I'd recommend to just keep using those ECB's to buy other items you may need in the house... kleenex, cleaning, soap, razor's, etc until the big diaper deals roll around again. Then you won't have expired ECB's and you may have more then you do now if you play them right.

I just plan my trips for things we will use. Just today I got:
pledge duster
soft soap body wash
soft soap hand soap
3 boxes kleenex
3 pkgs candy
purell
2 valentine clearence items

for $5.03!
Could NEVER have done that in any other store. And we will use it all.

Great start to turn a little into a lot. Just remember now with a big ecb you will need a bigger transaction. Even though there are no diaper deals real soon find the products that give you the same ecb's back as you are spending or items that you have a coupon on like the razors 9.99 -4.00mc =$6 but you get 6ecb's. Great job! It makes me really happy to see the men on this board trying to help with the couponing. My exhusband would not let me use coupons because he said it would embarrass him.

I love pampers too, but the CVS brand diapers go on sale every now and then and they work great for my son. Or you could wait until there is a sale for pampers, the wonderful members of this site post CVS ads about 3 weeks in advance so you can see if there will be a pampers deal before your ECB's expire. You did great though, congrats and welcome to saving tons of money!!!

1st let me say it's nice to see more men on here getting in and helping their families save money instead of being critical about the way we go about saving
Like someone previously mentioned, you can look at the ads in advance to see if there are any other deals coming out for stuff you may need around the house. Next week there's a good deal on toothpaste (everyone needs toothpaste). Just keep your eyes open and visit the site frequently because sometimes people find deals you may not have known was going on.

Good Job and welcome. As most are saying you just missed the diaper deals they were the past two weekends...

However you need to spend those ECBs before they expire. Here are a few things that with coupons from the paper you can come out nearly free and get items you will use..

Gillette fusion rasor or the embrace rasor - limit of 1 per card.. and it is either or.. you cant get 1 of each
Schick titanium rasor - no current coupon.. i dont think - limit 1
Purell hand sanitizer - printable here Purell® get 2 ECB back...
Softsoap hand soap - has a current coupons..price is 1.49 get 1 ecb use .35 coupon- limit 1 per card...

Wow! Great job!! I personally would use the 1 set of $19.99 on Pampers, get as many as you can with using Pampers Q's and your $19.99 ECB's. I do believe that you should have some Pampers q's from your inserts.

For a pack of Pampers, let say they are $10, buy 3 of them. Use 3 Pamper q's for $2 each ... Your OOP after the $19.99 ECB's would only be about $4.

Then, save the next set of $19.99 ECB's and keep rolling them over until they have the Pampers promo's.

Just remember you must use all of your 19.99 ECB'S at one time, so make sure you buy enough stuff so you don't lose any of it....

I am new to this too but someone on here posted that they usually do the Pampers deal about once a month so you have about two weeks to wait.

But I know that starting March 1st for the whole month the Playskool wipes are 7.49(240 ct) and you earn 3eb. And you can do this 5 times per card. There is also a coupon...

I have never used these wipes but I plan on stocking up. I hope they are good.
