This is a subforum in the CVS thread. If you have made trips to other locations (Rite Aid, Duane Read, Publix, Walmart, Target, etc) please post those threads under the respective store.

The reason CVS has its own subforum is because of the high volume of reported detailed trips we receive. As for other forums, the trips/details can go right in the main forum without "clogging up" the other posts!

No no no! Not you! I just thought to let everyone know because there seemed to be some confusion as others have posted there as well! The posts don't clog up the My Trip Today forum... they are just in the wrong spot (under CVS) if someone wanted to, for example, see a trip from Walgreens! I'm sorry if you thought it was against you It's just an FYI for everyone's benefit

I'm guilty too, I didn't know until someone pointed it out to me.

The forum title should be changed to "My CVS trip today".

I always hit the new posts button, so it's jumbled with the others and I don't realize.

I don't know if I have posted, but I know that I have been tempted to. (No CVS in my area though!)

Hey now... this isn't a lash out! No one needs to feel guilty! I probably would have done the same thing too if I didn't know that it was CVS. You see "my trip today" and it's not specified unless you look above it that it is under "CVS". Don't worry about it!

Not offended at all.... just remarking that it is NOT obvious at all for those who are using the "new posts" button.

Personally, I'd rather not read the CVS forums because they just make me jealous that I don't have one around here!

I always check the forum names and read the ones that pertain to my local stores, but the title "My trip today" doesn't specify which store, so I end up reading them.

Then I get upset that we don't have a CVS!

So I wish the forum title was "My CVS trip today" so that I would stay out of it!

My trip to CVS.

Ok, so this is my first time posting and pretty upset. I went to a CVS out of town, so the location is over an hour away from my home. Something did not seem right at check out, so I had them double check. The cashier over charged me and added items to my receipt. So they fixed it, but still did not feel it was right, but baby was crying by this time, so I left. I got home and see that they still over charged me by $6.60.....any suggestions on what to do?

Well here is what I got

3 Colgate total at 2.99 (should have been 2.49)=8.97
2 list Smart Rinse 3.99 (should have been 3.49)=7.98
2 CVS Bandage 1.99 =3.98
2 Huggies Bath 3.49 =6.98
1 Huggies 232 wipes 7.99 =7.99

1.00 off wipe
1.00 of bath
2.00 off bath
1.50 off toothpaste

35.90-12.5=23.4

used 15 in EBC's so total should have been 8.40

Actually should have been 5.40 OOP

However, I ended up OOP at about $12.00. When looking at my reciept the guy only scan 13 EBC's (so I lost 2 EBC's), and only scanned 2 out of 3 colgate coupons. Ok I totally fell stupid. I went to the store knowing how much I was going to spend. But, thought I had just done poor math, especially since I second guessed him once. So, here I sit paying 6.60 more then I should have.
Any advice on how to handle this. The only good thing is I got about 25 EBC's

Since you live so far, I would call the Store Manager and tell him what happen. The nicer you are, the more understanding they are. If this does not pan out, call Customer Service.

Here was my trip today:

1. Sambucol 12.99 (paid total OOP - MIR) $10 ECB back

2. Sambucol 12.99 (again- 12.99 MIR) = $10 ECB back

3. 4 cokes, 1 ice breakers, 1 reeses = 13.50, used $13.49 ECB, total oop $0.01!!

So...once I get reimbursed for the Sambucol, I am only out sales tax on those 2 items And even if I dont get reimbursed, $2.99 is not a bad net.

The $10 ECB left over is waiting for the Loreal/St Ives/Fructis/Propel(Gatorade?) deal on Sunday. Have it all worked out to only $.60 OOP for everything! And more ECB to roll!
