I didnt know you could scan more than once a day! I for sure have to run up every day and scan it till the machine says no more coupons available! No telling what I might have missed out on! Thanks for all the great information! I am learning how to make CVS not so expensive, LOL

Umm if I was buying 2 razors and 2 shave gels I would use
(1) b1g1 disposable razor coupon and
(1) b1 disposable razor get shave cream free

If MQ1 says Buy Item A get a free Item B
And MQ2 says Buy Item A get free Item C
then the correct way to use these coupons is to purchase (2) of Item A in order to receive free Items B and C. To use both coupons and only purchase one Item A is piggybacking and misuse of these coupons.

So in this situation you are buying Item A (razor)
Getting Item B (Free Razors)
Then when you buy item B (Free Razors)
You get item C for Free (shave cream)

Coupons are money and therefore you would count item B as being purchased.

If I am wrong, could a FL please correct me.

No that is incorrect you cant do it that way because your not paying for the free razors regardless of the manufacturer paying for it a second coupon can not be used on the free razors because the free razors already have a coupon attached to it

I understand what you are saying, but the free item is not getting another coupon attached to it, the shaving cream is getting the coupon attached to it. I am trying to get the correct answer right now.

Yes but to get the free item you need to purchase the razor which you are not doing you are getting the razor free

I believe you can use a coupon for free shaving cream on item b.... My question came when a person said they used 2 free shaving cream coupons which as you stated is piggybacking! But now that you have brought it up I wonder If it is ok or not to you the coupon on an item that a coupon gave you for free

I thought the post you were referring to had 2 shave creams in it, when I went and looked at the one you quoted, there are 2 creams mentioned.

I messaged the forum leader here to see what they had to say. I am not getting an answer yet.

Piggybacking is when you buy 1 item (item a) and use 2 coupons to get 2 different items for free, that both say you need to purchase item A. I don't think this is the same.

This is the post I was referring to.... I didn't understand how she used or was saying to use 2 get shave gel free wyb disposable razor..... I believed it was ok to use 1 but definitely not 2. Now that the question has been brought up can we even use 1 being the b1g1 razor coupon actually pays for it not the customer I am not sure anymore...

Got it. She should have only used 1 shave cream Q.
A. 1 disposable razor
B. 1 disposable razor FREE from item A
C. 1 shave cream FREE from Item B

coupons would be
BOGO disp razor
BOGO Razor get Shaving Cream

I think that is how it would look.
She was indeed piggybacking.
I had to write it on paper. I was totally complexed and not looking at the 2nd Cream coupon. She would have needed another razor.

I just got confirmation from one of the coupon gurus. This would be the correct scenerio. You could only use 1 Shaving Cream Coupon. It would not matter that you got it with a coupon.
