On my $2/1 Dove IP it limits it to "two identical coupons allowed in a shopping trip".

Mine too. I make sure to let the cashier know the restrictions on my coupon or limits and ask them if they want to break it up, accept it or do it all together- makes things clear and easy for both of us.
