I went in to trade the power colgate toothbrushes because... well... according to my kiddos I got the wrong ones. I was worried about the whole 'I used coupons on this order' thing, but that actually went over pretty easy. Got money back and some on a gift card. I know I paid more for the second set of toothbrushes, but it's what the kiddo's wanted so such is life. Hehe...

Then I went on to continue my WYB $30 you get $15 ecb deal. WHAT A MESS! I found everything on my list just fine (yay!) except for one item I was using to boost my total over $20. I picked up some valentine's clearance though and all was well. After going through the whole checkout procedure and fighting with my newly aquired gift card from the toothbrush exchange I get checked out only to find out my $15 ecb did not print!!! UGH

The cashier's were wonderful though. They took my receipts (I will be getting them back tomorrow) and said they'd ask to see what happened. I don't know WHO she talked to but she called me after dinner to say that the store is going to be giving me a $15 gift card for those ECB's because they are not sure what happened either... well... reading on here it looks like these ECB's may be spit out after another order??? I am thinking I should buy a cheapo thing there in the store to double check before picking up the gift card and running. I am impressed with the customer assistance though from the store. I think I may have found a new fav for shopping... just wish I could shop without always running into an error. Hehehehe...

They seem to be really friendly! That is always good! The ladys at my CVS are really nice, and when I done a deal awhile back for the first time they even went and helped me find the right things I needed! The lady that checked me out was calling me a coupon lady...and she said I should take it as a compliment, because that is smart shopping! Around where I live, there is really nice people, heck even the Walmart people are nice...there I am called survey lady....(I cash my survey checks there)...I love it when a store has good customer service...it makes you go back, and enjoy shopping!

They were very nice to me. I was very impressed... especially after all the stories on here of the rude people in CVS. Wow! I seem to have some really nice stores around here. They teach me how to use the Q's and are pretty helpful in the stores too. Only had 2 incidents of rudeness and they were very minor.

I like the CVS closer to home, not the ones here by work. Christmas Eve Eve I dropped off a script, and it as 15 minutes before the pharmacy closed. She snottily told me they are closing in 15 when will I pick it up. I told her I had some shopping here, I can get it today. Well I go back a few minutes before 5 and the gate is down, so I go up front to ring out thinking my script is at the counter. NOPE! To top it off, my script coupon expired that day so I was going to be out the GC not to mention my needed meds. I called customer service and they 3wayed me to the pharmacist (who wasn't there the night before) and they were awesome. I went to get my script, which they didn't charge me for PLUS gave me a $50 GC instead of a 25, with many apoligies. I was very happy with it, and even more surprised when the manager called my house later that evening to apologize again. That kind of service makes people want to come back.

Welp, my $15 in ECB never printed today so I am so happy that I stopped at the store and they gave me that gift card. YAY... wasn't a totaly loss then!!

Don't stress too much. You are still saving money-- that's the main thing.
The extra bucks should have printed immediately unless you had reached your limit on that promotion. You also will receive extra bucks every 3 months based on what you spend in store and any prescriptions you have filled there.

My extra bucks never printed so I've just been using the gift card. I have not spent a penny at CVS because of this gift card too. YAY! I've just been rolling ECB's and using the card. It's almost up though... sigh... all good things must come to an end. Hehe...
