I had my best trip ever yesterday. I had some prescriptions to pick up so I went there first and had them scan my card so I could get my $6 quarterly ECB's. I also got a Free Poise pad CRT (up to $2.49)

I am new to CVS shopping - I have ready several times how people are getting their card scanned and getting coupons for them... What are they talking about?

When you make purchases with your Extra Care card, the cashier will scan it to give you credit for the sale prices and also it will print what is called Extra Care Bucks if you purchased an item listed as giving these. This is the same as FREE money!!! Your card will also print various $$$ off different products. Some say this is based on what products you've bought in the past, don't know really. You can "roll" your ECBs every week to buy something else that gives ECBs. I know someone else can explain this better, but I hope you get some idea of what it is. Also, in some of the CVS' there are "Red" machines that will spit out q's or ecbs when you scan your card. I've never seen one in any of my CVS'......Ok, now that I have thoroughly confused you, maybe someone else can explain it better.

I think I got it. I dont usually shop CVS because I have always thought it was expensive but now I see that I can really save some money. Thanks for the explanation!
