Yesterday I went to use my raincheck for the 6.99 Glade candle from 2 weeks ago and the manager was hovering around coz the cashier wasn't sure how to do the ECB.
I was also getting a bottle of Ajax and had the $1 Q from coupons.com Anyway, the manager refused to take either the $1 Ajax Q or the $3 Glade coupon from redplum saying that the tiny circles around the expiry date were supposed to be holograms. That they were copies, not by me but by coupons.com and redplum! I had never heard such a thing.

I will be writing to CVS today to complain.

sry u had to go through this, but my sis tried to use a IP q at CVS and they would not take it. She was told by the cashier that it has to have the advertisement/website address printed on the page where she got it from. She asked cashier why and cashier told her that it came from their corp office as well as management. She was told that in order to use coupons at that particular store, that information had to be included on the q. My sis called corp, to verify it and told them what had happened and that this policy came down from there corp office. The representative from the corp office said that she had never heard of anything like this and put here on hold to verify it with a manager and then came back and said "yes" it was so, because that one particular store had been hit with a lot of fraudulent q's

Update: I got this response via e-mail:
I sincerely apologize for the cashier’s unprofessional behavior. Our Loss Prevention Department has stressed to our Store Managers that their employees use good judgement when refusing manufacturer’s coupons from other Web sites. The two Web sites you mentioned are well known. I have contacted District Manager Patrick Carr. He will visit the store and review your comments with the Store Manager and employee. If you would like to speak with Patrick, please let me know and I will ask him to call you.
