They are extra coupons that print at the end of my register receipt. Sometimes they come out of the scanner and sometimes they just print from the register. It seems like I always get $4 off $20 - around Christmas, I got something like $5 off $15 in Christmas Items - which I didn't need or use but the candy thing worked out just right.
