My guess is that they are referring to the AMC Movie Watchers card. At least those are the prizes I used to get when I went to AMC...

The Regal movie theaters also has movie rewards card too.

I got a $50 GC for Regal from christmas, it's a bit further away though but will need to get the rewards card too.

OK silly question, but humor me!!!

Most movies we attend are with promo tickets (Axe catalina deal, Publix race to the movies) so I never pay "cash" at the theater for the tickets ~ can I use a rewards program without spending money

I use my AMC movie watcher card routinely. You get 2 points per ticket BUT max 4 points a movie which earn you prizes.

You also usually get cents of snack bar combos etc. Plus several days a week you get free popcorn but not weekend; and I believe not Wednesday but you get coupons in their emails of Wednesday popcorn.

By me, AMC bought out Lowe's movie theaters so there may be some in your area and you do not know it - check their website out.

I get tons of free movie tickets and never got the card before thinking I would not get credit. One day after using my free tix the cashier asked if I wanted to use my card. I did not realize you could use a card with free tix. I have been using it ever since but have also had a baby and have only went to the movies 3 times. It kills me thinking about how many movies we went to and never used the card LOL. Stephanie
