There is also a $5 off $30 purchase staples coupon you can print this week. I used it and got the limit on the easy rebate items with some other school supplies it was a great deal. I was apprehensive at first about the rebates being all on one receipt. It really is an easy rebate though. They print off several receipts for mailing or you can use the code on the receipts online for paperless rebating. I did mine online and it was quick and easy. Plus they emailed me when my rebate was being processed.

Sorry, my first year coupling for school supplies, plus not familiar with Staples. Is this all at the same store? Do you have a breakdown by any chance? Or are you just purchasing all at once and getting rebates.

At Publix (Middle TN) I bought Bic Michinal Pencils, 10 ct bag for $1, reg price $3.69.

I'm a teacher and usually get most of my supplies during the Staples penny sales. But they changed their program this year so teachers have a limit of two items at a penny each instead of 25. You can still get your remaining items at a penny buy you first must pay full price for them and wait for the Staples Rewards to be mailed to you. It is not worth it!

So I went to Walmart today to see if they would price match the crayons that are on sale this week at Staples for a penny. They would not. Claiming that they are different brands.

Has anyone else tried this? I need 30 boxes of crayons and while 25 cents a box is cheap it adds up when you buy that many and you have to buy other supplies for 30 children.

Were the crayons you were trying to PM Rose Art? If they were same brand/count they should have done it. They might not want to PM more than the ad limit though, not sure about that.

My regular WM doesn't usually even ask for an ad. Now another one that I rarely visit insists on seeing the ad and still gives me a hard time, thus one of the reasons I rarely shop there. They are also very non-coupon friendly. I even had one cashier walk off with my coupons, then come back and finish my order. Come to find out when I checked my receipt in the car, she didn't scan all my Q's. I swear I think she went and threw some of them away. This was when I first started couponing and she and another cashier were talking when they saw me with my binder walk up to the register and said, "Oh, here comes one of those. You have to watch out for those people." So I think she had it in for me from the start.

Yes, the crayons I was trying to PM were RoseArt. The kind they had at Walmart looked almost the same. Last year they PM folders without a problem. They make it look so easy in the commercial. But the woman at the register said she had to ask the manager. Of course he said it had to be the same brand. I am so irritated!

I price matched Sharpies last year at wal-mart, I don't remember the price, but I do remember the cashier looking at the staples ad and saying. HMMM I may have to grab a few of these. I would try again. Good Luck

Walmart has some good prices right now. Glue sticks 10 cents, filler paper 82 cents, file cards 47 cents. It's not all out yet so keep looking
