I tried to understand the commissary coupon policy but couldn't...has anyone tried to stack a coupon from the paper, internet, etc on top of the military store coupon? Can you do that? Just wondering because if not I feel like I could find better values elsewhere where I can stack the coupons...thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. I know the cashiers really look at every coupon and even thought it says military coupons it still says manufacturers coupon so I haven't tried to stack, will be interested to know if you can.

Exactly! That's why I was wondering...because I can't use those coupons at another store...so they are more like store coupons but they make a point to print "manufacturers coupon" on them...

I was wondering the same thing but I read the fine print on the military store coupons and I don't think u can because the commissary is reimbursed for the military store coupons so I think it is really a manufacturer q but only can be redeemed at the commissary. Does that make sense??

Totally makes sense...darn it...so really then we have to do our homework to see if we can really get a better deal at a another store where we can stack vs. getting something at the commy without stacking...oh the headache!

Makes sense to me! A lot of the prices I have noticed are cheaper at the commissary even though they don't double and you can't stack coupons, however I always look at all the sale flyers to see who has a better deal

That's why I only use the drugstores for all my personal and household products, and just do food at the Commissary.

You can NOT stack coupons at the commissary. Military coupons are manufacturer coupons that are supplied to the commissary from the manufacturers.

The px will price match and so will walmart so if you have an ad with the commissary price in it walmart will match it. walmart can accept miitary coupons but thats a Ymmv. The one here in jc does cause we are a military town.

You can stack coupons when they're coupons that come directly from the exchange. From time to time, I'll get NEX coupon booklets that allow me to stack with MFR Qs. But, this is when shopping at the exchanges...

However, you're right! Some deals can definitely be found off base/post.

The PX will not price match the commissary ( or at least they are not supposed to) Some walmarts will, some won't. Mine won't because of how far it is away. My publix won't take commissary coupons as a competitor either.

As everyone said you can't stack. Unless medicine and health and beauty are free or overage I don't buy that stuff at the commissary. I get it at cvs or walgreens. I buy food at the commissary mostly.

I have recently though I didn't read the small print. It was for pizza (I can't remember which one right now) but I had like a $2 off q and they had some on a tearpad for 55 cents off. I just assumed it could be stacked because it said "military store coupon" on it. They took both. oops!
