Free Free Taco Seasoning!
Hi, ya'll! I've been lurking for awhile, and finally decided to join in!

I go to the Camp Lejeune Commissary in Jacksonville, NC. My husband is an active duty Marine.

Last week, I noticed in the January 2009 Coupon Connection, there was a $1.00/2 Ortega products coupon on the front cover. Our taco seasoning packets were 44 cents each, making them free, with 12 cents of overage! I bought ten packets!

I'm in Jacksonville too!!!! I acctually went to the commissary today acctually stocking out sales and coupons =) I'm going to do my big shopping trip on Thursday, but I've found I save even more when I plan carefully instead of just going in and grabing whatever looks good! I'm a recent Commisary & coupon convert! On average, my commissary + coupons shopping trips have been 30-50% cheaper comparied to my old Food Loin and Walmart shopping trips!!!!!!
I dont use taco seasoning, just a can of rotels and ground beef. There is a print out coupon for Hunts tomato sauce though, that is $1 off 3 cans, and the small cans are only $.33! WhooHoo for FREEBIES! I've been stocking up on those the past few weeks. There were Q's for $.30 off a can of Rotels in this past sunday's paper, and they have been on the "sale isle" for a few weeks for $.86 a can!

Hey....since we have so many Jacksonville mama's here, would you girls like to get together sometime for a coupon swap??? I clip everything every sunday, but ofcorse I dont use them all. I keep thinking I'll find someone to give my extras to, but I havn't yet. What do you lady's think?????? Maybe meet up at starbucks every or everyother monday?? Just an idea.
