ALL laundry detergent - $2; 8-cereal pack - $1

Eglin Commissary - 7/3 (don't EVER try to get to base the day before the 4th of July) . . .

ALL Free & Clear laundry detergent - 100oz/32 loads - $2.00 (I have soft water so this is a good buy for me.) Caveat: May be stacked with coupons for $.50/off - READ IT - coupon is for the 2X which was $7.00/32 load.)

Cereal offer, near entrance - 8-single serve cereal (think it was Kellog, not sure) - $1.00. Could not find expiration date - asked, was told it was '1 month'. Don't think so, but, you decide.

While shopping - announcement - Frozen beef patties (i.e.: hamburger patties) - 93% - 10# box (40 patties) - $12.99. Yes, I bought it. This comes out to $1.29/lb. 93% hamburger is $1.98/lb, and I always break it down and freeze it anyway. I always buy when announced. (I remember getting them for $9.00/bx.) Ask Your Commissary meat Mgr (not the hired help) if they have them. Put wax paper between each pattie and freeze. I use them for meat loaf, spaghetti, tacos, etc. These are great because you can thaw them individually - 1/4lb each - to fit what you want to cook. AT 0-degree F should keep for several months. Check it out.
