Fresh Express Salad Free

I have a bunch of $1 Q's for Fresh Express Salad Mixes (I found a real tearpad at HEB) and the commissary has the little bags priced at just $.99 so that means free salad mix!

Also, Durex $2 IP Q's are a good deal on the 12 packs where the regular price is just $3.83. I donate them and find this to be a terrific price.

Thanks to everyone who posts...it helps allot with planning my trips!

San Antonio

I shop in San Antonio. I don't know how to get my posts to list my addy -- I especially love to see where people are from when they post so I know if I have a better chance of duplicating a deal found. I made my name include my state, but Texas is a big state so even that doesn't help everyone *smiles*

Thank you for the post. Do you have trouble using the overage coupons? My commissary doesn't like to give you the overage. They always try to tell me I can't use the coupons. I have to stick to my guns or they won't ring them up.

Your commissary is required to follow DeCA Directive 40-6, June 5, 2007 Paragraph 7-4. (n.) which states, "Valid coupons will be entered at the value stated on the coupon" Since the commissaries are non-profit, it's against policy for them to reduce the value of the coupon that the customer receives yet receive full face value of the coupon from the manufacturer.

The entire DeCA Directive is available here:

http://www.commissaries.com/inside_d...0_6_JN2007.pdf

Coupon acceptance procedure begins on page 38 of the Directive.

If you have trouble redeeming coupons for face value, ask to speak to the manager (bring along your copy of the Directive) and ask why they aren't following DeCA Directive when it comes to the coupon acceptance procedure. Make sure the manager is aware that the June 2007 version is now in use (supercedes the old version). I'm guessing that the cashiers just haven't been properly trained and once they get a reminder, your coupon "problems" will disappear.

Another great deal if you have any of the Ortega $1.00/2 or $0.75/2 coupons, use them to get taco seasoning for $0.44/1. If you have the $1.00/2 that leaves you an overage of $0.12, and if you have the $0.75/2, you are getting them for $0.13. Can't beat that! I tried getting them today, but they were out, so I will get them next time!

The IP probably came from eatbetteramerica.com or the pillsbury.com e-mail newsletter (or when it was on startsampling.com, couponbug.com, coolsavings.com or coupons.com) I just checked and that coupon isn't there now but the Muir tomato coupon is.

I don't add the IPs to the database when they are on sites like coupons.com because they disappear so quickly and it's disappointing for everyone not to find it when they click on the link.

I found YoPlus Yoplait yogurt 4-packs for $1.69 and there are $1.50 off coupons. There are also $1.00 off coupons that still make it a good deal! Also, the celestial teas were $1.59 I think? and with the $1.00 off coupons from the inserts from last Sunday or the Sunday before makes it $.59 for a box of tea!

I just went today and another deal I got was free hunts tomato sauce. There's an IP for $1/2 and they are currently $0.50/can, not bad...

Oh, the Domino Brown sugar has a $0.50 off Q and is $1.42=$0.92 for a 2 lb bag of sugar.

Gold Meadow Whole wheat flour has a $1 IP out there and was $2.50 today, so $1.50 OOP.

The guy behind me asked me "How much did you save?" answer $57.80, he was in awe! hahaha

I shopped at the Ft Myer Commissary in VA today.
