| M&M's - 21 oz - $1.15 - YMMV AF Commissary . . . Went in today for a 'quicky' (cigs, milk, didn't even take coupons). Table inside entrance, that I didn't see. A vendor lady, who knows me and my coupon habits oh-so well, grabbed me and pulled me over, said 'I know you like coupons. They are clearing out this size bag.' I don't eat them, DW does, went and got her from the car.
M&M's - 21 oz bags - on-sale - plain or peanut - and with the $.50/2 coupon = $1.15/bag. DW got 6 bags.
Who is the Best Friend you have in a Commissary? It is these ladies you see demonstrating products and have the coupons. Talk to them, get to know them, let them know you, even if you don't buy the product.
Why? Couple of weeks ago I went in. This same lady saw me, told me Commisarry was clearing out 240-ct Bounce dryer sheets, and w/ coupon was only $2.50, but they were all gone, and she was sorry I missed it. I thanked her. Later, while I was shopping, she came up to me and said she had found 1 more when she was doing inventory. She actually tracked me down to get it to me. Pretty Awesome, Lady!
I shared AFC with her a while back, as I have with all of the vendor/coupon ladies I talk with, and so many others that comment, in the asiles, 'Wow! You do use coupons, don't you?'. I don't know if they joined. I always forget to give them my AFC nick. Doesn't matter. If they are here, I'm glad.
Just remember - these are the people that know what's happening and what's coming up. Meet them. Know them. Be up-front and honest with them. They are the Best Friends you will find in your Commissary. As usual - offered IMHO. |
