| IP help I went today - had a terrible trip. I'm still reeling from my total! Anyway - They refused to take my IP's. They said they only take the one with (and i quote) "a second barcode." And she shows me a copy of a smartsource coupon, or brinks or something like that. No PDF ones....NOTHING!!!! I was SOOss sad. So what should I do? Are tehy allowed to refuse to take these? They said they're not getting paid for them so they can't take them. I don't want anyone to lose money, and I can use them somewhere else...... But I really think the lady was wrong - she totally seemed like she had no idea what she was talking about. Should I e-mail or call comeone? Who? TIA Last edited by CarolynC; 08-16-2008 at 09:28 PM. | The policy is to accept any coupons that have the "double barcode" or a "pin" (like smartsource has), but I have always had trouble at my commissary here (never did in CA). I would call and speak with the manager, I have never gotten more than the standard, "we'll get back to you" from emailing deca. Sorry you had a bad trip! |

| This is from the Commissary Coupon Policy regarding IPs: k. Commissaries may accept Internet coupons. Internet coupons cannot be accepted for free products. Internet coupons must contain a typical barcode and a Dot Scan Barcode or a PIN. Does this apply to your coupon? From what I can remember most (if not all) PDFs do not have a Dot Scan Barcode. I don't usually use PDFs so I could be wrong. Let us know how it turns out. |

| Well it is the official DECA policy to only take the ones with a dot scan or "second" barcode.....do I'm not going ot push the issue. Kroger makes enough money to where if I use 5 coupons they never get credit for (not on purpose of course) it's not the end of the world....I feel bad cause the commissary has a much smaller profit margin...so I don't push the envelope there...... |
