I am so thankful I kept at it yesterday... took awhile but I finally got confirmation of registration *phew*

it now says

We’re sorry, registration for the Sears Heroes At Home
Wish RegistrySM program is temporarily closed.

so for anyone who didn't get in, I'd recommend keep checking back to it

I am thankful that I got to submit my app. This was the first year we heard about it; no doubt it would have helped SO much last year and the year before, but regardless, this is such an awesome program.....hurry up, Oct. 27th!!!!

We are a military family and did this last year it was awesome!! I hope we made it this year!! We got a confirmation but said they would send an email later in Oct. to let us know if we made it. I believe you have to income qualify. We did last year.

We didn't have to income qualify last year. They just verify the name and birthday of the service member with DEERS. If they can't verify, they will contact you and give you so much time to contact them. Since the program is open to any rank, there is no income verification.

No confirmation e-mail but got the confirmation after submitting. I hope eeryone here gets the good e-mail on the 27th

We got accepted too!!!!! Yipppeeeee! I was freaking out because I had submitted the app two hours before the 9am opening time and thought I'd be disqualified cuz I hadn't read the directions fully, but thankfully, thankfully, thankfully, we got in! I will be using the cards for presents for the kids, and then diapers, wipes, and food with some awesome coupons of course!!!

So I applied,got the confirmation page.I called on the 27th because I hadn't heard anything and the girl verified our information and said yes our application was accepted.She said I would get an email stating when we should expect the e-gift cards yesterday(the 27th).So I'm wondering if anyone has gotten thier information email on the 27th?Because I haven't...I don't want to be annoying and keep calling either.Just curious,thanks for any replies!

I haven't received any other emails besides the one that I was accepted.

On or about November 23rd, December 21st and January 7, 2011, the donations we receive will be evenly distributed across all Sears Heroes at Home Wish RegistrySM e-Gift Card accounts.

If you haven't received information about your e-gift card account by November 22nd, please email heroesathome@sears.com and provide your Sears Heroes at Home Wish RegistrySM ID#, name and phone number. We will do our best to contact you within 24 hours to follow up.

So does this mean that some of us won't receive the gift cards in time for Christmas?

I'm not sure... it could also be read as there will be 3 disbursments... bc it says across all

If you were accepted you will receive 3 email gift cards on each of those dates. (November 23rd, December 21st and January 7, 2011) The amount depends on donations. January gift card you could use on after Christmas sales.




that sounded confusing you will get 1 gift card on each date for a total of 3 gift cards.
