Girls, I have a couponing question - at Meijer I used two $.75 off coupons for the same items (of course i bought two). The first $.75 doubled but the second coupon scanned for $.38 and then doubled at $.38. Why is this happening? Is there some policy change that I'm not aware of maybe? I was disappointed, I thought I would be saving $3 but I really only saved $2.26. Every penny counts when you live on a budget!!

How much were the items you bought? They weren't B1G1 free, were they? Sometimes the registers do stupid things.

Most likely, NO. You would need to do separate transactions. I don't have an ad in front of me, but it is probably limit one deal per transaction.

It was the Tyson deal last week, two bags of chicken nuggets for $7. It should have worked, right? The cashiers usually don't have a clue what the coupon policy is at my Meijer, it's very frustrating, so I didn't ask while I was standing there but in retrospect I should have said something!

I love all this cabbage talk!! In a house full of boyz (hubby included) I'm the only one who eats it. To save some time on those cabbage rolls (no offense to the Polish family who love to rolls those leaves) I just chop everything up and put it in a casserole. It's easier to freeze in small containers for leftovers since I'm the only one eating it!! Yummy, I want to go make it now 15 cents in BG, OH and more in Findlay, boo.....hiss...hiss.....

Grrr....I like shopping at Meijer but they are notorious for not including all varieties of a certain product when it is on sale. Ex. New York Garlic Bread is on sale for $1.67 ea. When I was there yesterday the plain variety was gone so I got the kind with cheese. Well, needless to say I get home and notice that I paid $3.19 for them. Grr...not very happy. I can't imagine that they pay more for that variety of garlic bread. Why not include all varieties and cause less confusion? I wonder how many other customers pick up the garlic bread w/cheese and never even notice that it's not on sale? I need to call customer service and see if they want me to bring the garlic bread back or if they want to make a price adjustment. I am not paying $3.19 for garlic bread! (I guess it would have actually been $2.19 after coupon but that is still too high for me. and I bought 3 of them!)

Edited to add: And I notice now that it's actually on price drop. If I'd have known that I would have just waited to buy it until next week since we prefer the plain variety of garlic bread.

No it's not included. In the ad it says New York Garlic Bread 10.5 oz - 11.25 oz. What I bought is 13 oz.

The price drop is for specific sizes, so unless the package purchased fell within the range, it would not be 3/$5. The ones on sale are the 10.5-11.25 oz packages.

The Glad trashbags did NOT produce the OYNO. Neither did my transaction that included KC Masterpiece, which was on PD for 1.47 BTW. I am sooo disappointed that I didn't get the OYNOs.
