So, I have a few questions about this deal, and about Meijer.

Meijer does not have a loyalty card program. ...correct?

I have (14) $1.00/1 Mfr qs.
I want to stock up for the year at this price.

In order to get the aforementioned cat(s), and further reduce the price and/or save the most, do I need to do 7 different transactions? ( oy...just thinking about standing in line seven times - at this time of year - makes my head go all WoNkiE! )

they have mperks, kind of like a loyalty card, but not. You do have to do 7 transactions. I often use the self-checkout as ours are never full, so I'm not holding anyone up. Hope that helps!

yes, sign up on the website, its linked to your cell number. You CAN do coupons at self checkout. If they beep, then whoever is working will come help.

I did this deal twice today and got the $5 off instantly AND the $3 OYNO!!

The cat says "additional coupon will not print when this coupon is redeemed in the same transaction". If you use one of the $3 OYNO to pay for future Maxwell House purchases during this promo, you will NOT get another $3 OYNO.

FYI, the shelves were wiped clean, there was not a single can left when I reached the coffee aisle. I found a manager and he had someone bring me some from the back room. This deal is all over the internet, so you might need to make several trips if you plan on stocking up.

I did two transactions at the self checkout, and plan on going back to the store to do two more later.

When you buy two cans for $7.99(scans at $7.49) you get $5 off at the register instantly
So, $14.98 - $5 = $9.98
The $5 discount is beyond the sale price.

Once you pay $9.98, a $3 catalina spits out that you can use on your next order. Its a store coupon making each can of coffee $3.50.

If you have any $1/1 mq you can get each can for $2.50. I didn't have any qs.

You can do this transaction multiple times but don't use the catalina to pay because you will not get a new catalina. Hope this helps.

I did this trnasaction 3 times today paying $9.98 for each transaction and getting $3 cat.

Yes. The self checkouts are quirky though, so be prepared to ask the attendant for help processing the coupons.

5) Don't use cats on transactions 2-6 to maximize number of cats received.

Don't pay with $3 cat for any transaction even if its your last one.

Trxn 1: $14.98 - $5 instantly - two $1mq = pay $7.98 get $3 cat
Repeat this six more times to use up all your 14 mqs(total 7 trxns)
Pay out of pocket for your last transaction, not with $3 cat.

You would have paid in total oop $55.86($7.98 * 7) and will have $21 in cats for future use.
So that makes each can cost $2.49. If you consider the sale advertised price each can becomes $2.99.

Check the sizes of the cans.. only the 33 to 34.5 oz ones trigger the $3 cat.

One more thing, do this deal asap. I went at 9am and there were so many carts with multiple cans of coffee.

You forgot one step. BREATHE!!!
It really will be very simple once you go to do it. I wouldn't go in the middle of the night because ... if for some reason the coupon printer doesn't print the $3 cat, you'll want to be able to go to Customer Service to get it fixed. The CS counter won't be open in the middle of the night.

Now, think simple...
Go into store. Pick up 2 cans of coffee.
Go to checkout.
Scan one. (SubTotal = $7.49)
Scan the other. (SubTotal = $9.98) It will have automatically deducted the $5.00.
Scan one coupon. Insert into slot. (It will prompt you or will say wait for cashier).
Scan the other coupon. Insert coupon into slot.
Hit "Finish and Pay".
Pay for your order.
Remove $3.00 coupon from catalina machine.
Remove receipt from receipt paper.
Smile!

Repeat 6 more times.
