Biggest problem I have now is the bread selection is usually shot when I go in, and the selection of soup, is drastically decreased ! This afternoon I could only get Cream of Mushroom & Tomato . Oh well, I can always buy cat food !

I totally agree with you steve. I went in yesterday to do my 1st deal with this and there were only 2 loaves of bread left...I was like WTH???? People need to slow down with overdoing this or they will just stop doing it all together....I was glad I at least got 1 loaf and 5 cans of soup.

Meijers relized the special so they removed the coupon im sure they will put it back there after the special over.Anti-Couponers!!

Maybe it's your store, but mine has been fantastic towards me and my coupons. I can't say that I blame them since people were really taking advantage of this one. And I wouldn't be surprised if they went to limiting MBQ printings in the future.

I had a very long conversation with our stores district manager yesterday, and MEIJER isn't paying for this promotion at all. Campbell's and Pepperidge Farms is......so the more they sell, the more successful the sale is. This is all part of their advertising revenue. Meijer is being reimbursed for every $5 cat issued, people are consuming the vendors products, and all parties are banking on people continuing to buy the product and continuing to shop at the store.

Again, this what I was told when I asked how on EARTH they were making any money on this. Apparently they are. A LOT.

I was in my meijer on Tuesday and I couldn't do the deal because all the bread was gone. I knew I waited too long for a such a good deal as this one. I live 45 minutes away and I am going there tonight as I need to be in town anyways. I'm wondering if all the bread will be gone again. So frustrating... I did get some other great deals though so I guess I'll accept what I can get and be happy.

Our's had plenty of breads today. No cooking soups though. I did the kids soup instead.

For some reason they will only double the .40 q to .65!! So watch your reciepts
