it was like a totally diffrent store today. everything was well stocked, the signs about it being an ad error were taken down and the mb q's scanned perfect. i don't know what happened, but dh an di both did 4 orders each today no problem. i think we have 15 loaves of bread in the freezer now, which is awesome.
i think i will continue this deal even though the sale is over today b/c chicken noodle soup is 64 cents every day @ our store, and the bread will go up to $3.49 but if i use 2 of the campbells mfg q's $1/2 soups i will still make a little overage. though i will have to find a new filler since mentos will be off sale tomrrow, making my kids sad .

I did 4 deals today because everything was so well stocked but two times my catalina did not print and I had to go to guest services. Guest services said that the deal was over today?! I thought it went on until November something or other? Weird...

Has anyone tried the little loaves of bread with the deal that were already $2.49 regular price???

I've given alot of our stuff away already but this was an excellent soup stocker!

The deal, I believe, goes to the 21st....so through this coming Wednesday. (BUT I don't know if the end date is different in different areas )
You said you did the 'deal' 4 times, but the catalina didn't print 2 of the times? So, I'm assuming then the catalina printed twice? That should have proved to them that the deal wasn't over if it printed two times. I wonder which one of your items didn't trigger it....

what store where you at? i was @ illinois rd and the cashier said, "just to warn you a lady was in here earlier and her didn't print so she had to go to customer service to get them, but then it printed for the lady behind her in line" makes me wonder if i just missed you . mine printed fine, no problem except fo rthe cashier forgot to give me my change and could not do math to figure out how to give it to me, finally i got a calculator out .

*5* kids soups
*5* chickie noodles/tomoto soups
2 breads (1 whole wheat and 1 15 grain)

I received the $5 catalina just dandy.

I than did 2 more deals later that afternoon because I ended up giving all the bread above away. HAHAA

4 kids soups (again)
4 cream mushroom
2 oatmeal breads

No catalinas and it was the same store. Sooo.. I dunno... hehe... maybe the bread???

Nope, I don't shop the southwest store ever because it's soooo far away. Hehehe... I'm sure we've crossed paths on Lima Rd? I was on 37 today due to where we were driving around town.

Even if this still is an ongoing deal I may just be done anyway... If the guest services are starting to think it's done than it will be difficult to get a $5 catalina if it might not print.

Just to double check...did you buy 4 cans of soup or is that a typo and you meant 5? The other thing is I almost screwed up and picked up the Brownberry brand which was right next to the Pepperidge Farm. Was the catalina machine on when you went in the afternoon? (Just trying to help you brainstorm some ideas why it didn't print) Sorry to hear that you didn't get them in the afternoon. It seems like I'm always holding my breath waiting to see if the catalinas are going to print out! I'm hoping this deal continues through Wednesday....now that I know the cinnamon is included I wanted to get some of that!

oh my goodness you ladies are literally probably passing me in the aisles!!!! i shop @ both the illinois rd store and the lima rd store! i live closer to illinois rd, but i usually hit the target on both sides of town as well.....and i don't work so i have all the time in the world!

Whoopsie!!! Yes, that was a typo. Hehe... I got all 5 soups. I was able to get my "catalina" at guest services though so it's turned out okay. I used some RR's to cover the $5 catalina that didn't print the first time.

There's some binders on clearance in the Walgreens on Lima with zippers too. I dunno what color or anything (bottom shelf - me preggo? - not bending over to investigate! HAHAHA) but they were $4.99!!!

Did you by chance use the Cat from the earlier transaction when paying for the later transaction? It could be that the Cat is not rolling. I didn't get one today when I bought the exact same items again at the same store, and I'm thinking it may have been because I used the Cat on the transaction.

I did this deal 3 times tonight (indianapolis area) with the Italian bread. It worked great we also were rolling the 3.00 cat's on the cottage cheese with the bread/soup deal. Along with all the peanut butter, all I am missing is jelly and I have lunches for weeks.

Thanks to this deal I paid off some library fines for really cheap!

I had some seriously overdue books ($20.00 in fines) and the library is giving a credit of $1.00/can in the month of October if you return the books with canned food.

So jealous!! I have fines at my library and they need to do this! I actually have 3 movies sitting right here that are late and they are $1 fine per day.... up to $5 each!! so I am pretty sure my fines will be around $15 this month.
