all three of our meijer stores were completly out of the bread! glad we didn't order coupons. hopefully they will have it stocked tomorrow. dh works a 24 our shift and planned to go this morning on his was to work and tomorrow on his way home.

i did this deal 4 times today.....i'm in northeast indiana. this morning they had none of the 'sale' bread, but price matched the other pepperidge farms bread and the catalina still popped out. did this twice like that. then went back this afternoon and they were all stocked up on the right bread. did it twice again and still have 2 $5.00 catalinas left.....will be doing more tomorrow.

so my totals for today are:

4 loaves of bread
20 cans of soup (cream of chicken, cream of mushroom & chicken noodle)

total oop: around $4.00 (i had several campbell's coupons that i used but the first order i didn't have the $5 cat yet and i bought other stuff as well.)

all in all i thought that was pretty darn good!

also....just an FYI, i also picked up some betty crocker warm delights today as i had a bunch of coupons making them $0.49 each, but they were spitting out a $1 cat off your next shopping order....i used those today too!

THEY TOOK IT DOWN!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT. Sorry. It was on page 1 under soups a few hours ago. I'm glad I printed it. It doesn't expire until 11/7. They're probably reading this thread! LOL

I just got 20 cans of soup and 4 loaves of bread for $0.90. WOOOOOHOOOOO! (That's subtracting off the $5 cat I still have. )

Wow, I'm glad I printed out a few of the coupons this afternoon. I almost put it off, but went ahead and printed it anyways. Now I just hope they have the bread when I get to go.

The Mm coupons can be saved as a pdf when you go to print them. This might be helpful unless Meijer decides to change that also. Just a thought. I know I saved some a while ago but never looked at them again.

I saved the mealbox coupons but then when I went to print them it was the meijer mealbox website. I even checked to make sure that I had saved them.

MY store let me do the frozen ones too. I did three separate transactions and used the meal box and manf coupon for the frozen

Even without the mealbox coupons this is a really awesome deal! I'm getting my parents and some friends stocked up with goodies even and I love doing that.

One thing to note is that (for some odd reason) not all of the soups are in on the deal... maybe this will be updated? My Meijer's just wrote me a $5 onyo coupon for it all since they didn't print. It was the fat free cream soups (I think) that threw it off. Not positive.... I intend to keep it simple and do this next time:

5 Chickie noodles $.64 each
1 bread 2.49
2 sgetti O's sale $.49 each
-$5 onyo
-$.40/4 chickie noodles mfg Q (doubles)
-$.40/2 sgetti O's mfg Q (doubles)
=.12!

Can't really beat that.... My hubbie did the deal for me once last night and he got a $1/5 Campbell's soups catalina! That's the first I'd seen of it too.

okay, i did this deal 7 more times today! the last 3 transactions i had no more coupons left so they cost $0.69 each.....still an amazing deal!

5 chicken noodle soup (also tomato soup) @ $0.64 each
1 loaf bread @ $2.49
total: $5.69

minus $5 cat = $0.69

i'm planning to do it a few more times this week so i can do a large donation box for our city's harvest food bank and our church food bank. well worth all the hassle from the u-scan cashiers that act as though each penny you save is personally coming out of their paycheck .

yep, had no issues with that one!

also, on an interesting (or maybe just interesting to me!) note, i just got off the phone with one of our meijer store managers (called to complain about the treatment i got from a particular u-scan cashier yesterday who is totally clueless about their coupon policy and was really nasty to me about it) and got the lowdown on how this deal is working. seems the vendors (campbells & pepperidge farm) are reimbursing meijer stores for the $5 cat to get people to buy their products.....and meijer is hoping that this deal will get people to buy other stuff while in the store, and use the $5 cat obviously. so he said that they are loving how people are taking advantage of it!

he also said that they have been complaining to corporate about the mealbox coupons not being accepted without cashier intervention. i REALLY wish that would get taken care of.
