My Meijer store has stopped allowing me to use BOGO MQs with cents off MQs. This deal wouldn't work for me. I used to be able to use a $1/2 with a BOGO Q, but now with the "tweaks" they've made to their registers, it always comes up "too many Qs" or "not enough items purchased". Then they count everything and tell me it's a no-go. In fact, last time the Aunt Millie's bread was B2G1, I tried to use 3 MQs (used to do this all the time) and they handed 2 of them back to me saying I couldn't use Qs on free items. UGH!

Actually, it should still work. What you describe is using a coupon on the FREE one, which technically SHOULDN'T be allowed to begin with. It'd be awesome if they did !

According to a Meijer coupon policy I read a few months back, they DO (or DID--not sure if they still do) allow you to use one MQ per item, even on BOGO sales. I have never had much luck with using a cents off coupon in conjunction with a BOGO coupon. That's a gray area, I suppose. I personally consider it coupon stacking, but I know some stores allow it. If you can do it without an "ordeal"--I say go for it. I only have one store to shop at and try to "fly under the radar". I want to maintain a good reputation at my store. There are some weeks that I'm there so often I imagine they have a picture of me in the breakroom with a sign that reads "Avoid this lady--she's a freak!"
