These are on sale this week for $.59 each. Use the $1.00/4 mealbox coupon and the $.40/4 coupon from today's paper to get these for $.24 each! I'll be stocking up on tomato soup since it's in my favorite goulash recipe! ***I forgot to add (since my stores don't double), if your store doubles, your total would be $.14 each! Here you go!Crumble 1 pound of ground beef in a 2 quart casserole dish with diced onion and minced garlic. Brown for 8 minutes uncovered on high until meat is brown, stirring halfway through. Drain the grease. Add 1 can tomato soup (undiluted), 1 can (14.5oz I believe) of diced tomatoes, 1 tablespoon paprika, a pinch of cayenne pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp oregano, and 1/2 tsp caraway seeds to the hamburger. Microwave covered for 18 minutes on 80% power, or until all flavors have combined. Meanwhile, boil 8 oz of macaroni noodles as directed on the box. Drain and add to the meat mixture. I served it with shredded cheese on top, but it's really good without it too. |

Watch the .40/4 coupon. It doesn't double correctly. It did .40 and then I think .29 for the Extra (doubled). Weird?? Anyone else have that happen?

| I'm curious, did you use a mealbox coupon too? I ordered a bunch of coupons and planned on stocking up. I'm going to be bummed if this coupon has issues.

I am having the same issue. Took off .40 and then .28. I used two q's and it did this both times. I also used mealbox q and that took the right amount off. This was the second week I noticed that it is not taking off the correct amount for the q's but it is adjusting the amounts. Last week, it was for the free hot pocket instead of taking off the 1.99 for the free item, it only took off 1.49. It is kind of frustrating.

Yep, I used the meal box coupon too. Wonder if you brought it to the attention of the cashier if she could take off the difference. Wait to use the MB until after...incase they use that as the reason.

I noticed my meijer did some computer updating so that's probably why. It's kind of nice because now if you go through the uscan and you have coupon issues they can help you from the main computer instead of running back and forth. BUT I did notice that like every coupon I scanned it said I needed to wait for assistance. Seems like lots of places are updating their system too much. I assume they want to make sure they aren't giving overage for items but now it actually screws us out of fair game. I have had this happen before too and pointed it out and was basically told there is nothing they can do because that is how the computer accepts it. (This will vary depending on the cashier you get, I am sure)
