does meijer's let you do BOGO coupons with deals like this?
i.e. can I buy 0 and get six free or do I need to buy 3 then get 6 free?

I was thinking about that one, too, but it may be too tricky for the Meijer cashiers. My Meijer never likes to combine BOGO sales with BOGO coupons (unlike other stores). Please let me know if it works for you!

I was thinking about using the $.55/1 Reese's product on the first 3 and then getting the 3 from the BOGO sale. Not sure what the reg. price is, but since my store doubles $.55 Qs to $1 automatically--I'm positive they'll be free. I don't think it should be a problem with using a $.xx Q, however my store would not like the BOGO Q I'm afraid. Even if your Meijer doesn't double, they should be pretty cheap. I still think I'd rather use my $.55/1 Reese's Qs at Kroger (8 pks. are $10/10--and Kroger doubles my $.55 Qs to $1) or at Kmart (also 8 pks. for $1 and super double Qs this week for us). Lots and lots of free Reese's. Stocking up on free Halloween candy!

Thanks! I'd never seen that offer before - however, it's only good on snack size bags, not singles.

Here's a new one; bought 12 pkg of single Reese's candy. In the ad as "buy 3 get 3" so I should automatically had 6 free on the register tape. I used 3- 55 cents/1 cpns and 3- buy1get1 cpns. Clerk took all my coupons and imputted them. I was in a hurry and only looked at bottom of tape and saw coupon deductions of 55, 55, 55, 74, 74, and 74 which would be right so I left. We live 35 miles away. I looked at the tape at home and saw that on the top of the register, I was charged 74 cents x 12 bars and an additional 19cents (3 times) was deducted. Meijer used my coupons to give me my free 6 bars! I walked out of that store paying EXACTLY what I would have had I not used my coupons. GRRR
I saved the ad and will deal with them next week. Meanwhile, they get reimbursed for my coupons from the manufacturer. BTW these were coupons out of printed newspaper circulars not ipcs.

And i ran into this problem
I ran in that problem today i bought 60 reeses i gave the 10 .55 c and 10 b1g1 so it should had been around 9.30 plus tax but it can up around a little over 18.00 so the cashier said that didnt ring up right so called over customer sev came over and they talk with a manager over the phone and they told me that i couldnt use the coupons in conjuction with the 3 i get free .i told them im using one coupon for 1 candy bar and using only 1 more with the b1g1 im still paying .93 for 3 candybars . i told them it no different if i used 3 .55 for each candybar they told i cant use any on any of the candy bar cause im getting 3 free already that doesn't make sense i ask them i needed corpo number and i called them they said u should be able to do it but the couldnt get a hold of the store dir

I bought 6...I used two bogo q's and two .55/1... Thought everything went off without a hitch til I looked at my receipt and realized that they rang up as buy 6 with only 1 free rather than 3... So basically I could have saved my bogo q's and used them somewhere else since the system would have given me the 2 free anyway... Oh well.

Meijer's computer will apply a coupon to a free item and then reduce the deduction amount they would normally give you - basically taking your coupon and you get nothing for it.

Last week I did the buy 10 yogurts get a Yoplait Delight free - the Delights were around $2.50 I think - anyway, I gave a $1 coupon for the Delights thinking it would be a MM to count toward the cost of the 10 single yogurts . . . NOPE - the reciept only gave me -$1.50 toward the free item, basically counting my coupon first: $2.50 minus my $1 coupon, and then minus the rest of the "free item", $1.50. So, I wasted my coupon.

So, they charge you the full amount, and then before giving you a deduction for that amount, it checks for any coupons, and then gives you a deduction for the remainder.

I hate Meijer's computer! Kroger's handles coupons with MUCH fewer quirks and problems. If Meijer didn't have more deals . . . :-)

same thing happened to me. It didnt take off for the BOGO meijer deal, which should've happened automattically BEFORE coupons anyways.....weird. not only did I stand in line forever, then I had to stand in CS line I am saving the few others I have for a different store!

Ugh. I got twelve last night. When I scanned them in sets of six, the second three were free on the screen. I used all the coupons nad looked when I got home and only have three free ones not the six! I'm sooo pissed with Meijer right now!

They didn't give me my Eggo free (only $1 not $1.50 off because I used $1/2 coupons), they didn't take off the MB coupons for Koolaid or Chinet.

I'm just about had it with Meijer!

i bought 4 bogo's, and on my receipt it says .74 limit reached and only took .37. i feel ripped. i paid 1.11 more than i should have (6.30). still not bad for my favorite candy.

I'm really bothered by this too (see the other thread about Koolaid issues!), I'd bug them. They need to re-write their coupon policy if they won't let you use BOGO coupons with BOGO sales or let you use coupons on the free items or comine MB and Man Qs for items that will be free (or not, don't know what their issue is there) The more noise they hear about it the more likely they'll fix it!!
