I was just curious to see how many of you fill out the Meijer Survey at the bottom of your receipt each trip? For those who don't know, you go to Meijer Customer Feedback and enter your receipt info and give details about your shopping experience. I have been doing this pretty consistently for several weeks now and have never heard anything. This morning I got a call from a manager at my store and she was following up b/c yesterday I gave an unfavorable review(bad experience with cashier entering coupons)... She was very nice and listened to all my concerns etc. and says they are trying to address concerns as they come up. Their goal is to improve everyone's satisfaction with issues such as stock, cashier service, customer service etc. I recommend that you take the time to do this... they do listen to our concerns!!

I haven't before, but I should after today! I had a really terrible cashier. And he was S-L-O-W! Plus the lines were already 3 people deep... so it took me at least 20 minutes to get through the checkout. Probably closer to 1/2 hour. Ridiculous!

I have dont this many of times, some good and some bad reviews. they contacted me once a few years ago. never since.

Taralynn: I would definitely let someone know about your awful experience in the checkout lane. When I went the other day, I had to wait awhile as well. Bethaliz6894: Aww, that is disheartening. I was surprised when my phone rang and I saw Meijer on the caller ID...got nervous for a second... ![]() I just felt good knowing they were at least looking at the reviews... I never heard anything before that... could be the manager on duty. She said she had seen my name before so I am not sure why this was the first phone call I got..she said something about a very low rating that she was trying to address.

Thanks for the reminder. I do believe it's important for us to be heard, both to help out other shoppers and for the store to address weaknesses.

That happened to me one day, too!!! It turned out to be the pharmacy about a prescription they had special ordered, but for a minute I started to sweat. I think I might be a little paranoid!! I was on the phone with a friend, talking about (what else??? ) deals at Meijer, when their number came up on call-waiting. I said, "OMG Meijer is calling me--they're on to me!!!!"

A few weeks ago I had a horrible experience with a cashier. I tried calling the store twice to talk to a manager and got disconnected both times, and I was livid. I filled out that survey and didn't hold anything back. A manager called me back the next day. Now I'm all paranoid to go back to that store since I know the cashier got in trouble, even though she deserved it. |

I filled out one of the surveys a couple months ago and gave them reasonably high marks (not perfect, but what I figured equated to about a B Average) and had a call from the manager who left a voice mail saying something about how they wanted to improve their ratings and that my survey equated to a C. I was tempted to call back and say something about how if consistant 4/5's accross the board equates a C, someone needs to go back to school and relearn how grades work. :P

Could be that on their scale that equated to a C. Good to see that they would like to even improve on 4s though. As a side note, I don't know that schools are a good example of how grades work. If C is average, most kids should fall in that range. Seems like most kids fall in a B range. |

Is there a space to write extra comments?? If so we should suggest that they: Price match at all stores on grocery and general merchandise And I wish my Meijer would double q's uo to .55 instead of .50 .. actaully make that .75 (I AM SO JEALOUS!!!) AND make the mealbox q's more clear on what they do and do not cover!!

I actually did tonight. Horrible experience with me traveling 40 miles there and home, no stock, unfriendly cashier dirty restroom and an overcharge on my bill. My first time I've done a survey for Meijer.....I know we should let them know the good too, but nothing was good about last night.
