Ours priced matched everything for a period of time, but not anymore which stinks because now you have to go all over town to do your shopping. Our Meijer advertises 2 like double, but in reality 3 double. I love shopping at Meijer!

I suspect the ones in GR don't because they are the biggest game in town, and the ones along the lake don't because they are considered to be more touristy areas. Kroger has a much bigger presence once you get a little further inland and sort of sets the doubling standards and once you get towards Detroit, there are a lot more grocery stores to choose from so the doubling keeps them more competetive.
