-expired 50/1 doubled = 33¢ each for first 2, and 83¢ for 3rd one

-expired 50/1 = FREE

Quaker Instant Oatmeal BOGO
- quaker coupon from today's inserts---haven't gotten paper yet myself.

- $1/1 tearpads = 50 cents each

Have I said lately how much I HATE that our stores don't take expired around here?

I don't thnk ANY Meijer stores take expireds

EVERY Meijer store in THIS area (especially the I-94 "corridor") takes expireds...WILLINGLY.

Bought mine today at Farmer Jack with Super Doubles (ended 9/10) for .60 a box

A correction to 2pocketpaks post above ... the sensodyne is on sale for 2/7 not 2/3. The ad is rather confusing and you have to read the very tiny print to see it is 2/7. I hate when they run ads like that. It is deceptive.

So when is a sale just not a sale?? When Quaker Oatmeal is on sale $3.79 for 2 boxes at Meijer!!

:speechless: It sure does! I went tonight to Meijers, and was yappin because I "forgot" those $1/1 coupons in the van...so I didn't even go look in that aisle.

The ad, I agree is EXTREMELY deceptive since they "group" it with the Aquafresh, which is $1.50 each.

the oatmeal to go is on sale B2G1F, so I used 2 $1/1 coupons and it was:

$1.99 x 2 - $2 = $1.98 for 3 boxes.

same for the oatmeal bars and oatmeal cookies...all B2G1F. those coupons came out in like July...all had $1/1 coupons for them.

because like all coupons, they rotate like clockwork...any time now we will be getting another 50/1 No Yolks coupon!! which after raincheck and coupon, makes them FREE.

Since Meijer rainchecks never expire, and you KNOW there will be coupons that make them free in the end (or very close to free)...rainchecks are your "insurance" ...the more the better.

Another "always get more than 1 raincheck" item is the Pop tarts! Especially now that they are on sale for $1.00 each! These coupons will also rotate frequently and we sometimes get either the 40/1 or the 50/1...making them FREE or 20 cents a box!

When I am getting rainchecks *usually on Thursday nights*, I will go to the farthest register away from the service desk and have them write out the rainchecks at the register...and then head over to the service desk and have them write out rainchecks...so in the end for that one trip in, I have 2 sets of rainchecks.
