What out, I've been having trouble with them and they don't seem to work at all if there will be any overage between them (not even take off part of the coupon, just don't apply the MB at all) and some of the MB ones don't seem to get applied plain and simple.

Anyone ever got any clear answers out of Meijer on overage? I had some manager or something going on at me that if the coupons add up to more than the value of the item it is 'cash back' and they don't do that and can't and could loose their 'coupon license' - if they are MB Qs, then it is a store policy, no?

Question about the Meijer 1 cards - how can I get one, we just moved from Canada at the beginning of the year, so I can't get a US credit card (soooo dumb) and you have to go through their application to get the Meijer 1 card - I did try applying via paper previously and they never gave me the Meijer 1 card. Thanks!

My Meijers just got funky on me today. Out of the blue (to me at least) they would only double TWO (2) like coupons per purchase !
Cost a couple bucks to find out that I'm better off going in during 3rd shift !

It used to be that they would only double two like coupons per like item. For example pizza rolls. If you bought 4 pizza rolls all the same flaovr them they would only double 2 of the same coupons (same upc, regrdless if they looked different). But if you pointed out to the cashier that 2 were pepperoni and 2 were supreme then they would double all 4. I noticed recently in their ad that it states that they will only double 2 like coupons. I think they are doing this to deter people from using coupons on a whole cart of groceries and paying next to nothing. Recently when I did the lysol deal, i made 3 separate transactions (2 one trip, 1 another) to make sure that i didn't have any problems with more than 2 doubling. Wish I could have done it in all one transaction, but didn't mind so much since i was getting it for free.

The Meijer One card for Upromise is separate from their credit card. You don't fill out the same info that you do for the credit card. It's an entirely different application altogether that only involves your name, number, & e-mail. No social security number, or any other personal information is needed for the Meijer One card for Upromise.

West side of the lower peninsula, I can't think of any chain that doubles coupons other then a rare sale week and I've lived all the way from Charlevoix County down to Grand Rapids. Central lower, around Lansing, you start find Meijer that double as there are Kroger stores to compete with. Eastern side you can even find some stores that double up to $1- I know Kroger in some areas does, though Meijer is still limited to 50c. South of the border, in Indiana & Ohio, more Kroger that double up to $1 and some even triple. What they do in the UP, I have no idea...I've never had to grocery shop up there Also not sure about north eastern side of state...between Spartan stores (especially Glen's) & Meijer you may be out of luck.
