First day on here learning about coupon matching, went to meijer that night after matching coupons, saved 42% on our grocery trip, with enough food to last us almost two weeks. If that was my first try at this, I can't wait to beat that margin of savings.

Today I bought 3 boxes of Mini Wheats, 4 packages of First Cross Bandages (clearance), and a bag of chips for $4.33- savings of $17-something. If I hadn't caved and bought the $2.50 bag of chips, my total would've been under $2.00

I also had my first go at this on Sunday. I saved 27% on our receipt. I figured I did a pretty good job considering I didn't plan my meals around the ads and went in armed with only $5 worth of coupons for soap and a list of items on sale for $1.00 (plus I bought a couple clothing items! ) The total OOP was $72.21 and my savings total was $26.64.

Hopefully, next time I can get my savings percentage closer to the 40-50% range!

They were on sale last week- $2.00 on sale, use the $.50/1 coupon for $1.50/box or $1.00/box if your store double. I think regular price at most stores is $2.39-$2.50 range, so still not too bad of a deal if your store doubles.

The sales where I live (Indy) doesn't switch until Thursdays.....

It's an advantage when it comes to having to trade/order coupons!

Wow, that would be so confusing to be All of the stores around here are Sunday-Saturday. I remember back in the day (like 10 years ago) Meijer ads around here used to be Monday-Sunday.

Yeah, between Meijer and Kroger forums, it's definitely confusing!

Looking at our current week's ads... Mailman just came around!

Marsh, Meijer, and Kroger run Thursday to Wednesday here... I've never figured out how they came up with Thursday as a day to switch ads!

I live in Anderson and our Kroger ads run Thursday to Wednesday, but Meijer runs Sunday through Saturday.

This is from my kroger and meijer trip.
My mini van broke down and while i was waiting for the tow truck i decided to do a little shopping.

At kroger i made a profit but they don't give cash back so i had to lose the profit. Oh well free is free
I ended up with these for free:
